BERGEN

•Boruta, Josephine A. "Babci," January 17, 2009, at age 94; wife of the late Stanley S. Boruta and mother of the late Stanley R. Boruta; leaving behind her three girls, Cheryl (William Jr.) Wittman and Jeanette (Jeffrey) Benstead, both of Bergen and Bernadette (Michael) Olander of Gates; six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents and two brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said January 20 at St. Brigid's Church, Bergen. Contributions can be made to the Bergen Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 428, Bergen 14416 in her memory.


BROCKPORT

•Evans, D. Eleanor, January 12, 2009, age 96. Survived by her daughter, Elaine (David) Fox, Michael Fox and her great-granddaughters, Rebekah and Rachael Fox. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Evans, 1984, and her grandson, Stephen Fox, 2003.

A Memorial Service will be held in the spring. Contributions can be made to Christian Center Building Fund of Cornerstone Christian Academy, Brockport 14420 in her memory.


•Nelson, June E., age 77, on January 15, 2009. She is survived by her sons, Tom (Elaine) Nelson, James (Lori) Nelson and Richard (Lena) Nelson; her brother, Alvin Wilson; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Nelson and her daughter, Patricia Nelson.

A Graveside Service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Bristol, New York, in the spring. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Rochester Chapter, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, New York 14620.


•Quinn, James J. Sr., On January 11, 2009 at the age of 64. Predeceased by his parents John Roy and Ruth. He is survived by his sons Brian (Jen), James Jr. (Susan), and their mother Mary K.; grandchildren Mackenzie and Jameson; sisters Marilyn (Thomas) Hamilton, Sharon (Richard) Wandtke; brothers Bernard (Mary), Terrance (Vikki), Kevin (Barbara); one niece and several nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said January 17 at Church of the Nativity BVM, Brockport. Spring interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America or the American Heart Association in his memory.


HAMLIN

•Pane, Alanna Marie, born January 14, 2009, infant daughter of Jared A. Pane and Andrea M. Vintaloro died January 15, 2009. Along with her parents she is survived by her brothers Anthony J. Pane, Austin M. Brozak; grandparents Thomas (Betty) Vintaloro, Michael (Barbara) Pane, Jo-Lynn Pane; great-grandparents Joan M. Patrick, Dorothy Schott, Joseph (Patricia) Schott, John H. Barnes; aunts and uncles Jeffrey Vintaloro, Ian (Carrie) Pane, Micah (Beverly) Pane, Miriam (John) Penney and many other relatives.

Funeral Services were held January 19 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton.


HILTON

•Cooper, Charles E., January 19, 2009 at age 51. He is survived by his mother Clara Cooper; children, Jason (Carrie) Cooper and Jessica Cooper; grandchildren, Ayden and Ian Cooper; sisters, Kathie (Don) Finch, Lori Blocker; brother, Daniel (Deborah) Cooper.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 25, 2 p.m. at the funeral home of Alvah Halloran & Son, 2125 Chili Avenue. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.


•Nichols, Donna L., January 16, 2009, age 71. She is survived by her devoted husband, John "Jack" Nichols; her children, Diane (Wayne) Collins and John Nichols; grandchildren, Wade (Eun) Collins, Derek (Mark) Collins, Ashley and John Nichols; great-grandchildren, Danielle and Wyatt; brother, William (Margaret) Dunbar; former daughter-in-law, Julie Nichols; stepfather, Warren Neracker; step-sisters and brother, Karen (Bill) Wright, Norman Neracker and Debbie Guite; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services were held January 20 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House in her memory.


HOLLEY

•Petta, Joseph F., age 85, died January 13, 2009. Joe was a member of St. Mary's Church and was the custodian there for 33 years retiring in 1985. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of Jewel Buckman Post #529 American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane of 57 years; his children Joseph (Theresa) Petta, Michelle (Daniel) Deibel, Michael (Sherry) Petta; his grandchildren, Bryan and Shawn Deibel, Kevin (Kayleen) Halpin, Greg (Theresa) Halpin; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Cameron; two sisters, Betty (James) Nenni, Carmella (Charles) Sedita; brother-in-law, Francis D'Andrea; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, and two broth-ers.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said January 17 at St. Mary's Church. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Mary's Bereavement Committee in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Davenport, Esther L., January 21, 2009 at the age of 95. She is predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Paul C. Davenport. Survived by her sons Robert P. (Mary M.) Davenport of Greece and William S. (Juliann E.) Davenport of Owego; her grandson Daniel J. Davenport. Esther was a retiree of the Spencerport School District.

A Funeral Mass was said January 24 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. Masses can be offered or contributions can be made to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 North Winton Road, Rochester 14623 in her memory.
