ALBION

•Bard, Margaret A., age 82, died February 3, 2010 in the Medina Memorial Hospital Long-Term Care Unit. Margaret was a member of the Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Bad was predeceased by three children: Francis Sliter, Susan Sliter, Mary Jo Sliter, brothers James Wigner, Robert Wigner, and a sister, Dorothy Fox. She is survived by daughter, Donna (Robert Drennen) Culbert of Albion, sister, Jean Miller of Albion, Michigan; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Private services were held. Contributions can be made to the Orleans ARC in her memory.


BERGEN

•Stein, Joseph F., age 78, carpenter at Eastman Kodak in Rochester for 20 years, died January 30, 2010, at Advent House in Fairport. Mr. Stein was born October 27, 1931 in Bergen, a son of the late Julius J. and Anna Kearney Stein. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Wright Stein, whom he married June 11, 1951; two daughters, Julie S. (Thomas) Machell of Webster and Marcia S. (Randall) Kehl of Churchville; five grandchildren Lauren and Matthew Machell and Lindsey, Nicholas and Brendan Kehl; a sister, Betty (David) Mullen of Batavia and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was held February 6 at St. Brigid’s Church, Bergen. Contributions can be made to Advent House, 1010 Moseley Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Beauregard, Norman C., age 80, died January 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan (Czimback) Beauregard; parents, Telesphore (Eveline Lavallee) Beauregard. He is survived by daughters Mary Samiec of Tucson, Arizona, Susan (Timothy) Turner of Pittsford, Joanne (William) Rogers of Binghamton, Nancy (Donald) Verni of Pittsford, Lisa (Todd) Heydt of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Debbie (Michael) Porter of Churchville; 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private; burial in Grand View Cemetery, Batavia. Contributions can be made to Meals on Wheels, 2180 Empire Boulevard, Webster 14580 in his memory.


•Duff, Timothy Michael, of Brockport and Grand Junction, Colorado. Suddenly January 23, 2010. Predeceased by father Ed Duff; step-father, Arnold Harster; and brother, Thomas Duff. Survived by his mother, Arlene Duff Harster; his wife, Cindy Henderson; his sons, Jeffrey and Tyler; and daughter, Breanna. He is also survived by one brother, Dan Duff of Tampa; sister, Cindy (Paul) Herzog; nephew and niece, Derek and Jessica Marie Herzog.

A Memorial Mass will be held in May.


•Tripp, Vera Winden, On January 30, 2010, at age 85. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Calvin C. Tripp, parents Theron E. Winden and Grace Platts Winden; two sisters, Ina Lorraine Enright LaLonde, Evelyn Crary Sherry, and brother Evart W. Winden. Survived by two daughters Sharon (Mel) Burch and Ricki (John) DeBaun; five grandchildren; Theron (Kim) Burch, Travis Burch (Virginia Kennedy), Bridget Martin, Carl and Bryan DeBaun and three great-grandchildren: Nolan and Alexandra Burch and Clayton Griesbach. Vera is also survived by her sister-in-law Helen (E. Gordon) Tripp, nieces, nephews, grand and great nieces and nephews and many dear and longtime friends. Vera was active in Eastern Star, Friendly Circle and Red Hat Societies.

A Funeral Service was held February 5 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Brockport. Donations in her memory can be made to St. Luke’s Church, an Animal rescue organization of one’s choice, Cure PSP https://give.psp.org/ or a charity of one’s choice.


CLARENDON

•Rodas, Martin, formerly of Clarendon, died January 31, 2010 at age 57 of cancer. Survived by his wife, Kerry and sons, Sean and Patrick all of Cedar Creek, Texas. Predeceased by his father, Donald. Also survived by his mother, Doris; sisters, Debbie (Chris) Reynolds, Donna (Tim) Bopp, Vicki Harris, all from Holley; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Adam) Huck, Matt (Nicole) Morgan, Steven (Sheila) Rodas, Jesse and Jayme Bopp, Cory and Amber Rodas.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 8, 7 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church, Fourth Section Road, Brockport.


HILTON

•Lansberry, Lynn A., died January 29, 2010, at age 61. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathleen; sons, Michael, Scott (Jennifer) and Timothy (Sherry) Lansberry; grandchildren, Steven, Taylor and Sierra; sister, Margaret “Peggy” (Monty) Cole; brothers, James (Sueann) and Russell (Lyn) Lansberry; nieces and nephews. Lynn was a US Navy Veteran, a retiree of the Harris Corporation and a member of the Ely-Fagan American Legion Post #1151.

A Memorial Service and interment to be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center Lifetime Care in his memory.


HOLLEY

•Biederman, Dolores, Age 81, January 14, 2010. Predeceased by three wonderful children Cheryl, Richard and Darryl. Survived by her children William (Cindy) Biederman of Minnesota, Lydia (Tony G.) Meyer of Kendall, Kenneth Biederman of Georgia; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister Cheryl Ginther of Rochester; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Reception Sunday, February 7, 1-5 p.m. at Hulberton Fire Hall, 3353 Hulberton Road, Holley.


NORTH CHILI

•Marchner, Dorothy M. (Zimmer), January 30, 2010 at age 85. Predeceased by her daughter, Mary Lou Marchner; parents Joseph and Florence Zimmer; sister, Sr. Joseph Mary Zimmer, SSND. Survived by her loving husband, John C. Marchner; son, David (Janine) Marchner; grandchildren, Kelly, Michael (Catherine) and Robert Marchner.

A Memorial Mass was said February 6 at St. Christopher’s Church, North Chili. Interment, private. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.


•McMenemy, Marion J. (Lessord) “Great Mama,” Janaury 28, 2010, at age 82. Predeceased by her husband, Jack; son, John; brother, Bill; sisters, Gloria and Gayle; son-in-law, Dean. She is survived by her daughers, Lynne Schmidt of Texas, Kathy (Dan) Conner, Michele “Mikey” Ellison, Pat (Jim) Barbera; daughter-in-law, Laurie McMenemy; grandchildren, Joe (Wendy) Schmidt, Sean and Allison McMenemy, Danielle (Gehn) Willowglade, Tim Conner, Claudine (Donnie) Temperato, Tim, Jamie and Patrick Ellison, Gary and Joe Archer, Christin and Jennifer Barbera; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sister, Ester Simmons; sister-in-law, “Addie” Lessord; several nieces and nephews. Marion was a retiree of Kodak.

SPENCERPORT

•Traugh, David Terry, Suddenly January 26, 2010. Predeceased by his loving, devoted father, C. Terry Traugh. Survived by his two sisters, Valerie (Tom) Bopp and Claudia (Dave) Haviland; brother Stephen Traugh; son of Marlene Traugh.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Spencerport United Methodist Church, Tuesday, February 16 at 6 p.m.


•Wright, Carolyn E., January 26, 2010. Predeceased by her husband, Tom; and daughter, Patricia Cassidy. Survived by her sons, Daniel (Rosemarie) and John Thomas Wright; grandchildren, Susan (James) Hearn, Scott Wright, Sabrina (Jack) Jankowski, Karen (Bernie) Finewood, Kristen (Tom) Creary and Charles Heinzman; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sister, Helen Danzig; and brother Donald “Bud” Galbraith of Colorado; several loving nieces and nephews.
