BROCKPORT

•Prevost, Craig S., On March 14, 2008. He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Sherri; three sisters Richelle, Brittany and Janie; stepmom Amy; his great-grandmother; two grandmothers; one grandfather; two aunts, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services were held March 18 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Brockport. Spring interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Brockport Fire Department or American Red Cross in his memory.


•Smith, Shirley Eskridge, March 10, 2008. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Ed) Gucker and Marsha (Jack) Gillette; son-in-law, Donny (Patti) DuBois; grandchildren Chuck Dorgan and Stacy (Ingo) Bentz; her brothers, Howard (Mary Lou) Babcock and Earl (Barbara) Babcock; sister-in-law, Florence (Harold) Davis; and many nieces, grandnieces, nephews and grandnephews. Husbands, Delivan C. Smith and Luther D. Eskridge and daughter, Patti DuBois, predeceased her. She is a retired nurse at Lakeside Memorial Hospital and had served as a nurse in the US Navy. She was an active member of Hamlin VFW Auxiliary Post 6703 and of Hamlin United Methodist Church.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 170 West Avenue, Brockport, NY 14420 or Hospice of Rochester, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623-2988 in her memory.


•Szeles, Lewis W., On March 14, 2008. Predeceased by his wife Meryl and grandson Jon Krenzer. He is survived by his children Robert (Debbie), Barbara (Charles) Klinkbiel; grandchildren Debbie and Aaron Brenkus; great-grandchildren Jon and Taylor Brenkus, Heather Krenzer; his sister Betty Collins; brother and sister-in-law Herb and Ann Galen; good friend Jean Stewart and his dog Buddy.

Funeral and interment were at the convenience of the family. Friends can contribute to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.


HAMLIN

•Wiest, Richard A. Sr., age 73, March 13, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joyce (Warner) Wiest; his children, Richard (Cheryl) Wiest, Sharon (Todd) Bradford, Chris (Laurie) Wiest; grandchildren, Alicia and Adam Bradford, Connor and Eric Wiest; brother, Robert (Gloria) Wiest; sisters-in-law, Paula Wiest and Margaret Warner; many nieces and nephews. Richard was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and was a past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus at SEAS.

A Funeral Mass was said March 17 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3747 Brick Schoolhouse Road, Hamlin 14464 in his memory.


HILTON

•Cervone, Michelle M., March 12, 2008. She is survived by her mother, Linda (Vito) D'Ambrosio; her fianceé, Kenneth Haight; her father, Peter Cervone; grandmother, Helen D'Ambrosio; grandfather, Dominic Cervone; sisters and brother, Carla Cervone, Dawne D'Ambrosio, Vito D'Ambrosio, Gina D'Ambrosio; nieces and nephew, Andrea, Jocelyn, Colin; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Mass was said March 17 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Private interment.


•Erbland, Esther S. (Weilacher), age 89, March 13, 2008. She is survived by her husband Paul Erbland; her children, Lynn (Stephanie) Weilacher, John (Margaret) Erbland, David Erbland, Christine (Craig) White; one sister; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jeanne.

A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church, Hilton. Interment to follow at Parma Union Cemetery.


•Jensen, Danny A., of El Dorado Hills, California, March 12, 2008, age 56, formerly of Hilton, after a brave battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father Alfred. Survived by beloved wife, Paula; mother Betty; four children: Krys Jensen, Traci Lomb, Derek Jensen and Rikki Jensen; four stepchildren: Leland Patterson, Jeremy Patterson, Brandy (Ron) Torres, James Patterson; 10 grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters: Mary (Ron) Hinkley, David (Pam) Jensen, Tom (Karen) Jensen, Kathi Buchiere, Patti (Howard) Salleby, Joe (Dawn) Jensen, Sean (Brenda) Jensen; numerous rela-tives and friends; his two cherished Pomeranians, Gizmo and Ginger; and best friend, Kevin Metzger.

Funeral Services to be held at Merritt Hall (next to Hamlin Fire Department) at 1503 Lake Road, Hamlin on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.

•Beswick, Shirley M., March 14, 2008, at age 81. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Francis K. Beswick Sr. She is survived by her son, Francis K. (Marlene) Beswick Jr.; her daughters Mary Ellen (Jay Throckmorton) Ladd, Karen (Bill) Broomfield, Suzanne (Paul) Contestable, Joanne (David) Bourne; her grandchildren, Ken (Tracy) Ladd, Aaron (Amanda) Smith, Bryan (Becky) Smith, Kiley (Brooke) Smith, Kimberly Simmons, Justin, Alyssa and Amy Contestable, Andrew and Sarah Bourne; great grandchildren, Mitchell and Madelynn Simmons, Ethan Smith and J. W. Smith.

•Galarza-Traverzo, Elizabeth "Ellie," March 18, 2008 at age 78. Predeceased by husband, Manuel Traverzo. She is survived by her children, David (Arelis Figueroa-Traverzo), Dee (Bud Lammers), Josue (Erin) Traverzo; grandchildren, Susana, Remy, Roman Traverzo; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.

•Gillette, Hazel V., March 16, 2008 at age 87. She was predeceased by her husband Aaron E. Gillette. She is survived by her son Robert E. Gillette of Spencerport and her daughter Bonnie (Jean-Guy) Tellier of North Rose; her grandchildren Aaron, Paul (Melinda), Danielle, Mark and Michael Tellier; her brother Harold G. Webster of Spencerport.
