•Hank, Susan M., March 17, 2010, age 55. Wife of James Hank of Bergen; mother of Christopher (Jill) Johnson of Greece, Ira (Gina) Johnson of Bergen and Shannon (Shawn) Clare of Spencerport; grandmother of Meghan Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Miranda Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, Elizabeth Clare, Ian Clare and Logan Clare; sister of James McManus and Timothy McManus, Judith Rizzo, Cheryl Giesy, all of Greece, Daniel McManus, Patricia Schultz and Colleen (James) Lathan, all of Florida, Joan Smith of Hamlin and Catherine (Paul) Morgan of Tennessee.

Funeral Services were held March 23 at St. Brigid’s Church, Bergen. Contributions can be made to Lipson Cancer and Blood Center atRochester General Hospital or Journey Home, 994 Long Pond Road, Rochester 14626 in her memory.


CLARENDON

•McFarland Stocking, Martha M., Age 90, March 21, 2010. Predeceased by first husband Joseph McFarland in 1977; second husband John Stocking in 1986; son William McFarland in 1999. Survived by daughter Norma (Harry Warren) McFarland; son Joseph McFarland; daughter-in-law Marilyn McFarland, all of Holley; three step-daughters, Elaine (John) Scala, Trudy (Mike) Symanski, both of Springwater, Donna (Walter) Curtis of Lima; granddaughters, Deborah (Michael) Clemens of Albion, Amy (Michael) Bartek of Hilton, Susan (John Progno) McFarland of Rochester, Kaity (Dave Ryan) Henning of Hilton; great-grandsons, Ryan, Brandon, Jaxson; brother Henry (Sarah) Wagner of Holley; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held March 25 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment, Hillside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Clarendon Fire Department, American Cancer Society or Hospice of Orleans in her memory.


HILTON

•Doty, Robert E., age 68, formerly of Hilton, died February 21, 2010 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina after fighting a brave battle with kidney disease followed by a kidney transplant. He is survived by his adoring wife Sharon of 18 1/2 years of Hendersonville, North Carolina; a daughter Donna and son-in-law Peter Smith and grandchildren Alyssa and Joshua of Hilton; a son David of Kill Buck, New York; brother, William (Dilli) A. Doty of Holley; two sisters, Joan Curtis of Omaha, Nebraska and Ruth (Duane) Berns of Zephyrhills, Florida; three cousins; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Elsie Doty and wife, Janet Marie Carlson. Bob was very active in scouting, receiving the God and Country award as well as the distinction of Eagle Scout. He was also a Leader in Hilton’s Boy Scout Troop 99. He was active in the Rochester Numismatic Society for almost 36 years. He retired in 1991 from Eastman Kodak Company, after a 30 year career.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at Mountain Rise United Church of Christ, Fairport. HOLLEY

•Lavender, Eula B., Age 93, died March 22, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband Earl; son Earl; daughter-in-law Janice. She is survived by her son Donald J.; daughter-in-law Donna Lavender, both of Holley; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Celeste Brinkman of Rochester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said March 26 at St. Mary’s Church. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Holley Fire Department or St. Mary’s Church in her memory.


NORTH CHILI

•Braun, Shirley P. (Price), March 21, 2010. Predeceased by brother, Robert Price. Survived by husband of 60 years, Charles; children, Susan (Paul) Horstmann, Thomas Braun, Kathryn (Brian) Burley; grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, Evan and Christina; brother-in-law, Dave Braun; many dear relatives and friends. Shirley was a lifelong member of YWCA.

OGDEN

•Indiano, Joan A. (Mulley), March 16, 2010, age 69. Predeceased by her father, Charles and her brother, Robert Mulley. Survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Tony; her children, Richard (Karen) Indiano, Sherry (Tom) French, and Julie (Tom) Wertman; grandchildren, Shelley, Michael, Tina and Alex; her mother, Mary Mulley; also several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated March 22 at Holy Ghost Church, Gates. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery.
