BROCKPORT

•Hare, Marilyn J., March 27, 2010. Predeceased by her parents, C. Albert and Ethel Dorrance and brothers William and Robert Dorrance. Survived by her loving husband of 56 years, G. Stanley Hare; sons Thomas (Karla), James (Joan), Richard (Denise); daughter, Patricia (Robert) Vanderstouw; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Barbara (Dayton) Smith; several sisters- and brothers-in-law; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She retired from Brockport Central Schools where she worked as a Library Aid. She was a member of Brockport United Methodist Church and a Lifetime member of Mary Jane Holmes Chapter 440, Order of the Eastern Star.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Brockport United Methodist Church, 92 Main Street, Brockport. Contributions can be made to Brockport United Methodist Church in her memory.


HOLLEY

•DeHond, Mae H. (Peterson), age 97, died March 25, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband Melvin E. DeHond and her seven siblings. She is survived by her daughters Sandra (Nick) O’Mara, Barbara (Anthony) Taroni; grandchildren Brian O’Mara of Williamson, Kelly (Scott) Wainwright of Brockport, Anthony Taroni, Michael Taroni, David “Darlin” (Stephanie) Taroni, Joseph Taroni; great grandchildren, Christian and Chase Wainwright, Jack and Charlie Taroni, Isabella Taroni and baby Dominic Taroni. All the Taroni family resides in San Jose, California. Mae is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held April 3 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Albion. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Orleans in her memory.


HULBERTON

•Phillips, Hanford Burr “Buzzy,” Age 80, March 27, 2010. Survived by wife of 56 years Betty (Weader); sons Duane (Denise), Norman; grandson Dylan all of Holley; granddaughter Lynn (Nick) Gehlert; great-grandson Jake Gehler of Oakfield; sister Sally (Sidney) Porter of Ohio; nieces Janet Kaplan of Colorado, Cheryl (Schaun) Mobley of Washington; sisters-in-law Aria Snook of North Carolina, Emma Weader of Hulberton; brother-in-law John Weader Sr. of Birdsall; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and camping friends.

His Funeral Service was held April 1 at the Holley First Presbyterian Church. Burial Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Church or American Cancer Society in his memory.


NORTH CHILI

•Braun, Shirley P. (Price), March 21, 2010. Predeceased by brother, Robert Price. Survived by husband of 60 years, Charles; children, Susan (Paul) Horstmann, Thomas Braun, Kathryn (Brian) Burley; grandchildren, Hannah, Abigail, Evan and Christina; brother-in-law, Dave Braun; many dear relatives and friends. Shirley was a lifelong member of YWCA.
