•Barons, Kenneth J., April 2, 2008, age 92. Husband of the late Virginia Macons Barons; father of Richard I. (Rosanne) Barons of S. Hampton, Christopher M. Barons and James N. Barons, both of Bergen; brother of Donald R. Barons of Georgia; and Carol Witzel of Scottsville; grandfather of Joshua Barons of New Jersey and Carlee Barons of Bergen.

Funeral Services were held April 5 at H. E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, Bergen. Contributions can be made to Boy Scouts of America, 56 Harvester Avenue, Batavia 14020 in his memory.


•Roe, David C., On March 28, 2008 at the age of 83. He is predeceased by his longtime companion Ruth Sprong. Survived by special friends Patricia Baker of Brockport, Howard and Beverley Kern of Farmington, James and Lorraine Wells of West Shelby; one sister and one brother and several nieces and nephews. David was a lifetime member of the VFW.

A Funeral Service was held April 2 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Brockport Rotary or the VFW Post 202, Holley in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Catlin, Raymond L., Suddenly on March 27, 2008 at the age of 76. He is predeceased by his wife Adele. Survived by his children Cheryl, Gregory (Robin), Douglas (Rosemary); grandchildren Sara and Ryan, Marcus, James and Nathan; sisters Shirley, Patricia and Linda; in-laws Barb and Chuck, Carol, Richard and Tootie.

Funeral Services were held March 30 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Brockport Vet's Club or the American Diabetes Association in his memory.


•Coleman, Lois Jean, March 31 at age 82; wife of 61 years to Harold F. Coleman of Brockport; mother of Linda Jean Coleman of Brockport; and Don (Deb) Coleman of Bergen; grandmother of Amy (Mike) Koziej, Sherry (Jim) Starowitz, Carrie (Brian) Fair and Sandy Coleman; great-grandmother of Jacob and Mary Koziej, Riley Fair, Emma Starowitz, Andrew Fair, James Starowitz and Libby Starowitz. Mrs. Coleman worked as a secretary for the State of New York and SUNY Oswego and was a member of Brockport United Methodist Church.

Her Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12 at Brockport United Methodist Church, 92 Main Street. Contributions can be made to Brockport United Methodist Church, 92 Main Street, Brockport 14420 or to the American Heart Association, 2113 Chili Avenue, Rochester 14624 in her memory.


•Noble, Alma W. (Walker), April 2, 2008 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Willard Noble; brother, Robert Walker. She is survived by her brother, John Walker; nieces and nephews, Kathleen, Virginia, Patty, Sharon, Suzanne and Thomas.

Funeral Services were held April 4 at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 170 West Avenue, Brockport 14420 in her memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Huffman, Linda M. (Schleede), March 28, 2008 at age 54. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Randy W. Huffman and her son, David Huffman; her parents Lynn and Marilyn Schleede of Brockport; her siblings, Barbara (Dave) Wood of Lake Placid, Brian (Juliet) Schleede of Conesus, Brenda (Mike) Wikander of Arizona and Terry (Alison) Schleede of North Carolina.

A Celebration of Linda's life will be held this spring and will be announced at a later date. Contributions can be made to the Cancer Society in her memory.


•Parke, William D., March 26, 2008 at age 89 in Churchville, formerly of Middletown. He was predeceased by his wife Alice (Wick) Parke. He is survived by his children Suzanne A. Parke of Tallahassee, Florida, Gregory H. Parke of Otisville, and Joanne (Timothy) Hagy of Spencerport; his grandchildren Sandra Krieg, Rebecca (Antonio) Cisneros, William Kain and Justin Timineri; his great grandson Julian Cisneros; several nieces and nephews; his caretaker Sue and his devoted cat Lola. He was a member of many charitable and civic associations.

Funeral Services and interment in Middletown will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Humane Society or to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


HILTON

•Blair, Gary I., age 74, March 26, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joan (Stevenson) Blair; their chil-dren, Andrew D.S. (Laurie) Blair, Jodie Kay Blair Ginter; his brother, Robert (Em) Blair; sisters Shirley (Harold) Lemcke, Nancy (Ralph) Ingraham; grandchildren, James Blair, Sara (Erik) Herringshaw, Chandra Blair; great-granddaughter, Mina Rose Herringshaw; and his loving Hilton Baptist Church family and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Kirchgessner and her husband Leon. Gary retired from Eastman Kodak in 1989 where he was a Senior Project Engineer and he has always been a very active member of HBC.

A Memorial Service will be held in mid-April. Contributions can be made to the Hilton Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 50 Lake Avenue, Hilton 14468 in his memory.


•Gartland, Ruth (Spencer), April 1, 2008, at age 82 with family at her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Leonard F. Gartland; her son, Thomas Gartland; her daughters, Ellen (Jeffrey) All and Constance (Richard) Naugle; her grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Rachel, Kate, Benjamin and William; her brother, Raymond (Betty) Spencer; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at First Congregational UCC (The White Church), 65 Church Street, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.


•Vogel, Patricia Huyck, March 8, 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Glende of Hilton; son James Vogel of South Carolina; her very special grandson, Jason Glende; brothers, David Huyck (Marilynne Locke), George (Sharon) Huyck; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends; very special friends Gail, Lindsay and Scotty McKay and Sue McDonnell (Rick Ellsworth).

•McGrath, Leonard J., On March 29, 2008 just six days shy of his 68th birthday. Survived by his loving wife of over 41 years, Linda (Hawkins); devoted children, David (Melissa Vullo), Michele (Gregory) Odell; his grandchildren Spencer, Megan and Ryan Odell; siblings, all of Ontario, Canada, Leila Dunn, Peterborough; Donald Napanee; Rita Dillon, Kingston; Laverne (Barbara), Belleville; Eleanor (Patrick) Doyle, Martin Town; Catherine, Tamworth; Austin (Jane), Amherstview; Gerald, Picton; sisters-in-law, Gail (Hawkins) Faubel, Saratoga Springs; Rosemarie Hawkins, Canandaigua; Linda McGrath, Bracebridge; many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents, John and Bernice; brother, Ronald; in-laws, Robert H. and Bertha Hawkins; brothers/sisters-in-law, Edwin Dunn, Robert F. Hawkins, Raymond Dillon, Larry Deane, Helen McGrath. Leonard was a retiree of the Town of Greece Highway Department and a proud CSEA member.

•Rodriguez, Elizabeth Regina, March 29, 2008 at age 43. Cherished by her sons, Joselito (Kenyala), Jose (Lindsay), Joseph Rodriguez, and Chauncey Chealey; parents, Thomas and Margaret Howard; brothers, Mark, Payton, Jerome, Ronnie, Frank and Mike; sisters, Tracy, Mia and Pat; a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of her life was held April 3 at Trinity Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, Rochester. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
