AREA

•Crooks, Rilla Marie, 90, of Phoenix, Arizona, for-merly of Churchville. Died March 25, 2009. Moved to Arizona from New York 31 years ago. She was predeceased by husband John W. Crooks, Sr. and son Wayne Crooks. She is survived by son John "Jack" (Joyce) Crooks, Spencerport; daughter Norma (Albert) Pescherine, Glendale, Arizona; grandchildren, Todd and Michael (Tracy) Crooks, Marine PFC Brandon and Chris-tina Pescherine; four great granddaughters and one great great grandson. Special niece Bonnie Udder and extended family Arline (Eddie) Ellis.

A Memorial Service was held March 28 in Phoenix. Donations in her memory can be made to Aurora House Hospice, P.O. Box 21, Spencerport, NY 14559.


•Rogers, Edna "Nana", age 105, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died March 31, 2009. She moved to Port Char-lotte 23 years ago, after living in Adams Basin and Brockport for many years. She was a homemaker all of her life, but was also a housekeeper and nanny for Dr. and Mrs. Charles Gay. She also worked as a cafeteria monitor at Brockport Central School before retiring.

Survivors include her daughter, Lou Anne (John) Wadhams of Port Charlotte, Florida; grandchildren, Mark (Jennifer) Wadhams of Jefferson, Maryland; Beth (Jay) Petrino of Rochester; Jill (Jay) Nine, Jodi (Tony) Suares both of Port Charlotte, Florida; great grandchil-dren, Ella and Evan Wadhams, Sienna Petrino, Kaitlyn and Eric Nine and Tyler Suares and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Floyd C. Rogers.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.


•McClellan, Doris, C., of Clifton Springs, on March 31, 2009 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband, Eugene. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Colby; brother, Donald (Martha) Cronise; nieces and nephews, Susan (Graham) Biddle, Richard (Rita) Cronise, William (Jeanne) Cronise, Delbert (Lynn) Cronise, Robert (Alexia) Cronise, Carol (Mark) Stash; many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Services will be private.


BERGEN

•Kingsbury, Richard D., Lt. Col. U.S. Airforce (Ret)., on March 27, 2009 at age 87. He is survived by his wife Ethel; daughter, Lori Ochoa; son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Judy Kingsbury; grandchildren, Meghan and Logan Ochoa, Katelyn and Kara Kingsbury; sister-in-law, Dorothy Kingsbury; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son, Todd. Richard was a Captain and B-24 Bomber Pilot during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Air Force Reserves in 1969.

A Memorial Service was held April 4 at the Alhart Funeral Home, Caledonia. Interment with full Military Honors at Stone Church Cemetery, Bergen. Contributions can be made to Honor Flight Rochester, P.O. Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692 in his memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Claxton, Martha L., Passed peacefully, April 6, 2009 at the age of 53 surrounded by family and friends after short courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother, Anabel Gay, aunt, Dorothy Suski, uncle, James Guthman. Survived by her devoted children, Jason Claxon of Wellsville; daughter, Sharon Claxton and fiancé Chris Wilkinson; father, Arthur (Ruth) Gay; brother, John (Elizabeth) Gay; sister Anne (Samuel) Levitt; four grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Bryen, Cody; several nieces and nephews and special friends. Patricia and Stephen Caldwell and their children Hannah and Trevor Caldwell whom Martha loved dearly. Martha was employed by Churchville-Chili School District for 29 years as a bus driver. She was also employed at Westwood Commons Senior Living Center as a caregiver.

A celebration of her life was held April 9 at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.


CLARKSON

•Zagata, Mary A., Born in Appalachia, Virginia 1915. Predeceased by husband Walter and grandchildren Suzanne Hayes and Mark Zagata. She was an active member of St. Leo's Church in Hilton. Mary and Walter started Sunny Crest (Deerfield) Country Club in the 60s. She is survived by her children Karoline (Ronald) Hayes, Valerie (Charles) Sample, John (Sue) Zagata; grandchildren Robert (Sherry) Hayes, Teresa Smith, Melanie Smith, Paula Zagata and Brent (Sheri) Zagata; great-grandchildren James Hayes, Justin Purkey, Cody Stritzinger, Justin Stritzinger, and Edward Stritzinger.

Private Service at convenience of family.


HILTON

•Cervini, Christopher D., suddenly, Saturday, April 4, 2009, at age 17. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Kathryn Cervini. He is survived by his parents, James and Kathleen Cervini; grandmother, Marie Martin; brothers, Michael and Shawn; aunts, Kristine, Carol, Kathy, and Nanette; uncles, David (Brenda), Sheridan, Darrel, Jefrey; cousins, Kaylin, James, Katie (Jeff) Scott, Brian (Jeanne) Martin, along with several other cousins.

Christopher was a junior at Hilton High School.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated April 8 at St. Mark's Church. Interment, Falls Cemetery. Memorial contribu-tions can be directed to his family.


•Graupman, Sue Ann, age 62, on April 4, 2009. She is survived by her children Dusty (Liz), Kurt (Kathy), Cory (Erin) Graupman; grandchildren Cameron, Chloe, Lauren, Will, Ella, Brady, Allison Graupman.

NORTH CHILI

•Dunn, Doris J., April 1, 2009 at age 84. She is sur-vived by her husband Norman W. Dunn; son, Thomas (Denise) Dunn; daughter, Linda Williams of Cary, North Carolina; grandchildren Gena, Matthew, Zachary, Stephanie, and Courtney; great granddaughter, Mia; several nieces and nephews.

SPENCERPORT

•Andolina, Mary, died April 1, 2009 in Palm Harbor, Florida. Predeceased by her husband, Frank and son, Mark. Survived by her daughters Renee (Ron) Nobles and Jane Ford; sister, Jean (Jerry) Buckley; grandchildren Scott and Keith Nobles, Andrew Ford, Jennifer (Tom) Trinchitella, Melissa Andolina, Kyle Leslie; great-granddaughter Alexa Trinchitella; several nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.


•Caudle, Richard H., Sr., He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; sons, John and Richard (AJ); three grand-children; eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Edna Stone; several nieces and nephews. Dick was a deco-rated WWII Pilot and a retiree of Rochester Products.

A Memorial Service will take place on June 5, 2009, at 5 p.m. at the Spencerport Wesleyan Church, 2653 Nichols Street, Spencerport. Interment Private, White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Association in his memory.


•Wiebeld, Stephen J., April 3, 2009. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Bette; children, Pete (Gina), Karen (Bob Johnson) Allison, Timothy (Annette) and Donna (Mark) Yoder; grandchildren, Melissa, Ken, Joseph Allison, Natalie, Andrew Wiebeld, and Andrea Yoder; great-grandchildren, Devin, Theresa, and Aidan; sister, Charlotte Crumb; special nephew, Gene (Bette) Sherman; many other nieces and nephews.
