•Geiger, Harriett, of Rochester. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Theresa Zimbrich, devoted husband Robert, sisters and brothers Rita and Jerry Fien, Bernie and Mildred Siebert and George Bowman. Cherished and survived by her daughter Carol Gardiner; sons Robert (Linda) and John Geiger; a proud grandmother to Jeffery and Elizabeth Gardiner, Benjamin and Zachary Geiger; great grandmother to Sage and Cole Gardiner; sister to Marlyn (Pat) Bowman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service was held April 21 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Contributions can be made to Monroe Community Hospital in her memory.


•Hall, Clifford R. Jr., died February 16, 2009 at age 58. Predeceased by his father, Clifford Hall Sr. Survived by his mother, Mary Hall; siblings, Steve (Erica) Hall, Beverly (John) Smalley, Noreen (James) Kroeger and Gail Hall; also several nieces and nephews; special friends, Donna Bellamy, Patty Gray and Bonnie Neri.

A Memorial Service was held April 27, 2009 at St. Jude’s Church, Gates. •Gardner, Gary L., age 64, on April 20, 2009 with family close by. Survived by his son, Christopher (fiancee Rachel Castelletti); sister, Shirley Claycomb; brothers, Dean (Patricia) and Gerald Gardner; and many others.

A Memorial Service was held April 25 at the Alhart Funeral Home, Caledonia. Private interment. Contributions can be made to the family in his memory.


CLARKSON

•Taylor, Jewel A., April 21, 209 at age 87, following a short illness. Survived by her daughters Tamara (Kenneth) Hoyt and Pamela (Paul) Worcester; grandchildren, William (Jennifer) Edwards and Mark (Olga) Edwards; sisters, Trilby Estes and Syble (Van) Leigh; great-grandchildren, Megan, William, Rebecca, Jonathon, Raquel, Rigoberto, Carmen, Tamara, Tyler and McKenzie. Predeceased by her husband, Vincent W. Taylor; parents, Irrie and Lillian Watson; brothers, Charles Archie, James and Hertis Watson; great-grandson, Mark Edwards, Jr.

A Memorial Service was held April 24 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment will be at the family’s convenience at Archbold, Ohio. Donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in her memory.

•Frediani, Irene B. (Bagneschi), April 19, 2009, at age 70. Predeceased by her husband, Louis T. Frediani Sr. She is survived by her children, Louis T. (Rhonda) Frediani Jr., Joseph M. (Eileen) Frediani; grandchildren Steven Bogart, Louis T. Frediani III, Ashley Frediani, Patrick Frediani; brother, Michael (Margo) Bagneschi; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said April 22 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. •Reel, Winston R., On Monday, April 20, 2009 at age 87. Survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Marcia Clement Reel; son and daughter-in-law Larry and Karen Reel; grandchildren Erica and David Entner; Chris and Sharon Reel and Sarah and Jarvis Atkins; seven great-grandchildren.

•Murphy, Henry G. “Hank,” April 20, 2009 at age 65. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; sons and daughters; several grandchildren; three sisters; several nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.

•Stimson, Robert T., age 73, April 20, 2009. Predeceased by his parents; and dear friend, Rosemary Branigan. Survived by daughter, Susan (Joseph) Skeels; grandchildren, Cpl. Bradley Ingram USMC, Michaelyn (Lt. Eric) O’Hearn U.S. Army; brother, Ira Stimson; sisters, Virginia (Bill) Imm, Alice (Richard) Davis.

A Memorial Service was held April 26 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. A Memorial Service will be held in the Albany area at a later date. Contributions can be made to the Hilton Library or American Diabetes Association in his memory.


KENDALL

•Andre, Matthew J., Sr., age 43, died April 21, 2009 as a result of an MVA. A lifetime resident of this area, Matt was a member of the Rochester Painters’ Union, the Holley VFW Men’s Auxiliary, and enjoyed bowling and playing his guitar. He was predeceased by a son William. He is survived by his children: Matthew Jr., Michael, Mitchel, and Marissa all of Kent; the mother of his children, Tracey Andre of Kent; his girlfriend, Teresa Smith of Brockport; his parents, James and Ann Andre of Kendall; his brother, James Andre of Kendall; his sisters, Sherry West of Virginia, Margie Steffen of Kendall; two grandchildren, Damien and Melodee; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held April 25 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment, Sandy Creek Cemetery.


NORTH CHILI

•Pagano, Lucille Ann, April 18, 2009, at age 82. Predeceased by her husband, Patsy Pagano; son-in-law, Stavros Tahou; sisters, Jayne and Sharon. She is survived by her loving children, Valerie (Ron Antinone) Pagano, Patrick Pagano, Renee (Jeff) Roy, Elana (Robert) Shaffer, Shawn (Denise) Pagano, Alecia Tahou, Darion Pagano, Maria Pagano and Kyle (Shelley Cerami) Pagano; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Winchell; brothers, Sonny Conley and Robert (Paula) Brann; brother-in-law, Joseph Pagano; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated April 22 at St. Christopher’s Church, North Chili. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609 in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Reed, Billy W., Ph.D., April 17, 2009, age 69, after a courageous battle with A.L.S. Survived by his loving wife Ellen; four children; Leisa (Brion) Raymer, Kerrie (Edgar) Baker, Matthew (Carolyn) Reed of Massachusetts, Bradley (Heather) Reed of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Michael (Jenny) Ortolaza, Corey Raymer, Krysta Pagan, Daniel Caraballo, Kyle, Jessica and Opal Reed; two great-grandchildren, Maria and Elizabeth. He was past Chair of the Commuication Department at SUNY Brockport; past NYS Faculty Senate Parliamentarian, Faculty Senate Representative. Taught at the Simon School as an adjunct, as well as Kodak and other education arenas.

A Funeral Mass was said April 24 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to MDA, 1425 Jefferson Road, Rochester, NY 14623 or Lifetime Care in his memory.


•Walton, Daniel Michael, Suddenly, April 17, 2009 at age 27. Loving husband to his wife, Shannon (Carroll) Walton; devoted father to daughters Madolyn Mary Walton and soon to be born Nora Daniel Walton; beloved son to father and mother James A. and Rita (Simmons) Walton; cherished younger brother to Jennifer (Walton) Renn; James R. (Anne Klug) Walton. Also survived by loving grandmother, Beatrice Simmons; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Jeanne Carroll; several aunts, uncles, cousins, many special friends and his Local 86 Union brothers and sisters. Daniel was a member of the Sigma Nu Chi fraternity at SUNY Geneseo. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Orville R. and Mary Walton and George Simmons.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated April 23 at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions in his memory can be made to a trust fund being set up for Madolyn and Nora. Please make donations payable to Jennifer Renn at 50 Edward Lane, Spencerport, NY 14559.


•Wittman, Elmer, of Lakeland, Florida (formerly of Spencerport): March 28, 2009 at age 85. Beloved husband to his wife Clara of 67 years; children Carol (Ron) Rogers, Nancy Roberts (Michael Ryder), and David (Patricia) Wittman; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister Arlene (Bruce) Reagan; cousin Clarence Fouquet; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and numerous friends. A Navy veteran, he served on the USS Lexington from 1943 to 1946; a graduate of RIT, and a Kodak retiree.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice in his memory.
