AREA

•Wiborg, Kirk A., Justin, Texas/Brockport: Died suddenly at age 49, on April 24, 2009. Kirk is survived by his wife, Lisa; son, Matt, and daughter, Erika; his mother, Enid, father Jim and his wife, Sandy; sister, Jill and her family and his beloved dog Codie.

Funeral Services were held May 1 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Kirk often sent flowers to Lisa just to make her smile. The family asks that, in lieu of sending an arrangement to them, you send flowers to someone you love.


ALBION

•DePoty Inez Pearl (Bender), age 75, died April 27, 2009 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. She is predeceased by her husband Wilbur; daughter, Kathryn and son, Ronnie. She is survived by children, Betty DePoty of North Carolina, Eugene (Pat) DePoty of Medina, Beverly (Charles) Pulaski of Albion, Heidi (Stanley) Bouter of Medina, Brenda (Mark) Pangrazio of Hamlin, Rose Davis of Hamlin, Alice Dibble of Brockport, Terry DePoty of Rochester; 30 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Gary) Winchel of Ohio; brother, Earl (Pearl) Bender of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Francis Miller of Albion; cousin, Martha Truman; nieces, nephews and many special friends.

Funeral Services were held April 30 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Burial in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Memorial Hospital in her memory.


BROCKPORT

•Bater, Gene F., April 16, 2009, age 81, died in hospice care at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. He leaves his wife of 54 years, Mary-Louise (Arnold) Bater; daughter Jennifer N.; son Andrew L.; daughter-in-law Christina; and granddaughter Lindsay. Eleanor Bater, his sister-in-law, and many nieces and a nephew survive. His brother, Ronald, and sisters, Patricia and Joan, predeceased him. His body has been donated to the University of Rochester Medical Center Anatomical Gift Program.

A Memorial Service will be held for friends and family at the White Farm Bed and Breakfast, 854 White Road, Brockport, Saturday, June 6 at 2 p.m. Donations can be made to the Sweden Community Recreation Foundation, 18 State Street, Brockport, NY 14420 to benefit the Sweden Farmers Museum in his memory.


•Korber, Marcia A. (Chase), April 25, 2009. Predeceased by her son Richard. She is survived by her husband Harold; son David (Renee); daughter-in-law Claudia; four grandchildren Melissa (Terry H.), Richard, Kelly and Kalyn Korber; two great-grandchildren; brothers George (Shirley) Chase, Bruce Chase; brothers-in-law Gene and Vincent (Willma) Korber; sister-in-law June Wheeler; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held April 30 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Garland Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.

•Bauch, Norma M., age 84, April 26, 2009. Predeceased by her parents Alfred (Elsie Lemcke) Bauch, husband Eldred Bauch. She is survived by her children Elaine (Thomas )Wooten, Marilyn (Tim Rose) Rowell, Neil Bauch; brother Everett (Eleanor) Bauch; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

•Egan, Alice M., April 28, 2009. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas Egan. She is survived by her loving children, Thomas (Nedra) Egan of Oregon, Timothy Egan, Ron (Lin) Egan, Linda (Mike) Haslip, Sue (Mike) Mutter, Greg (Lorry) Egan, Nancy (Dan) Egan-Kubit, Loren (Kathy) Egan; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was said May 1 at St. Theodore's Church. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport. Donations can be directed to Heritage Christian Services, 349 West Commercial Street, East Rochester, NY 14445 in her memory.


HILTON

•Baird, David M. “Tippy,” Suddenly, April 22, 2009 at age 55. After serving in the U.S. Army, he worked at Rochester Products and then for 10 years at Martin Marietta in Florida on the Space Shuttle program. Survived by his son, Sean Thibault of Rochester; daughter, Shannon Baird of Florida; mother, Patricia Klimack; brother, Todd Klimack (Ann Jolly); sisters, Kristine Richardson (Tim), Karin Clay (Paul); nine nieces and three nephews.

A Celebration of his life was held May 2 at Braddocks Bay State Park.


•Mazzatti, Betty M. (Goodness), age 79, April 29, 2009. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Richard; children Mark (Susan) Mazzatti, Diane Brooks, Elizabeth (Jim) Plaskocinski; cherished grandchildren Marcus, Megan, Troy; brother-in-law Gregory (Elaine) Mazzatti; sister-in-law Cecelia Mazzatti; many nieces, nephews and her dear friends Mary (Jack) Baxter, Anna (Ray) Hull.

Funeral Services were held May 2 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society in her memory.


•Skalny, Anna R., April 23, 2009 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her brothers, John T., Edward, Bernard and Joseph. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

•Tantillo, Mary Rose (Giamberdino), April 29, 2009. Age 89. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Russell. Survived by her daughters, Elaine (Phil) Quirin, Marilyn (Mark) Molyneaux; grandchildren, Patricia (Bill) Kuhn, Michael Quirin, Jennifer, Mark (Terra) and Brad (Karen) Osterling, Kristie (Josh) Uranga and Jeff Molyneaux; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rosemary Tantillo; nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said May 2 at St. Cecilia's Church, Rochester. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


KENDALL

•Lemcke, Lucille G., On April 26, 2009, at the age of 96. Predeceased by her husband Martin and two sons Ronald and Bernard. She is survived by her grandchildren Ronald Lemcke of Brockport, Lucy Miller of Medina, David Purucker Jr. of Middleport; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua Miller.

Funeral Services were held April 29 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery.


NORTH CHILI

•Spezio Cavey, Amelia, April 23, 2009. Predeceased by her husbands Samuel Spezio and Camiel Cavey. Survived by her sons Ralph N. (Anna) Spezio, Louis (Miriam) Spezio and Paul (Eileen) Spezio; grandchildren Andrea (Brian) Ebner, Samuel P. (Lindsey) Spezio, Matthew Spezio, Jacob Spezio; great-granddaughter Ariana Kristine Ebner; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mille and Ben Garofalo, Rose Spezio and Evelyn Annunziata; several nieces, nephews and step-children.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14609-5831 in her memory.


OGDEN

•Patten, Vernon O. W2PSQ, April 24, 2009 at home. Predeceased by his sister, Eleanor Bluhm, first wife Anne, dear friends, W2SPQ and W2RKO. Survived by his wife of 23 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Nancy (George) of California. Vernon was a WWII veteran, Master Sergeant 101 C.A.V. Group and awarded the Bronze Star. Pat was an enthusiastic Ham Radio Operator for 73 years.

SPENCERPORT

•Brisbane, Sean C., Suddenly April 21, 2009 at age 24. He is survived by his parents Mike and Nancy Brisbane; his brother Keith and his sister Stacy; his paternal grandfather Douglas Brisbane of Troupsburg, New York; paternal grandmother Lois Brisbane of Hemlock; maternal grandparents Clayton and Betty Hermann of Conesus; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sean was a volunteer worker at Vantage Point (LAI).

A Memorial Service was held May 2 at the First Congregational UCC (The White Church), Spencerport. •Means, Edgar B. “Ed,” April 23, 2009 at age 66, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Mabel Means. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joan C. Means (Stiver); daughters Kimberly (Greg) Thompson, and Kelly (Sean) Spencer; granddaughters Mikala and Katelynn Thompson; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ed was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. He was a 40-year member of the Brockport Free Methodist Church, Unity Lodge #479, and a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army.

A Memorial Service was held April 29 at the Brockport Free Methodist Church, Brockport. Interment will be held privately. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Brockport Free Methodist Church, 6787 Fouth Section Road, Brockport, NY 14420 in his memory.


•Ullrich, Harry F., April 26, 2009, at age 74. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Christel R. Ullrich and his daughter Carol Heckerman. He was a retiree of Frontier Telephone.

Funeral Services and interment were at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
