•Melvin, Eric J., Suddenly, May 31, 2010, age 40. Survived by his wife, Karin (Collins); his children Nelson, Nicholas and Morgan; his parents, Vallance “Butch” and Kay (Roth) Melvin; his sister, Jennifer (Keith) Brown; his brother, Matthew Melvin; father and mother-in-law, James and Pat Collins; brothers-in-law, Jeff and Michael Collins; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Funeral Mass was said June 4 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Hamlin. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to an Education Fund for his children, P.O. Box 745, Hilton, 14468 in his memory.


HILTON

•Hare, Nelson E., June 1, 2010, age 84. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen, 2003. Survived by his children, James (Barbara) Hare, Janice (David) Lloyd; his grandchildren, Matthew (Madelin) Lloyd, Valerie Hare, Michael (Rachel) Hare, Jennifer Lloyd and Thomas Hare; great-grandchildren, Makalya, Tyler, Michael, Ryan, Sadie and Julian; brother, Albert Hare; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services were held June 5 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Hilton Fire Department Ambulance Corps or the Jewish Home Foundation in his memory.


KENT

•Spencer, Randy J., age 47, died June 1, 2010. Randy is survived by his sons Jason and Aaron Spencer of Chili; his girlfriend Karen Zampatori of Greece; his brothers David (Charlotte) of Livonia, Eric of Holley, Jeff (Tammy) of Clarendon; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held June 5 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Burial in Hillside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the organization of one’s choice in his memory.


NORTH CHILI

•Ives, Marie A. (Davis) RN, May 29, 2010 at age 87. Survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Robert. Beloved children, Bonnie (Jan) Stein, James, David (Jackie); grandchildren, Kevin (Jackie) Gath, Christopher (Nicole) Gath, Laura, Ruth, Sarah and Jon Ives, Jason (Pam) Klotzer. “Grandma the great” to her great-grandchildren Jacob, Ashley and Matthew Gath; and many loyal friends and neighbors.

A celebration of Marie’s life will be held June 6 at 1 p.m., at the United Methodist Church of North Chili, 2200 Westside Drive. Memorial contributions can be directed to the Marie Ives Nursing Scholarship Fund, in care of Westside Community Federal Credit Union, 125 East Buffalo Street, Churchville, NY 14428.

•Glanville, Bernice C., May 30, 2010. Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Wilbert; and son, William. Survived by her children, Thomas (Lia), Susan Torpy, Stephen (Jeannie) and Daniel; grandchildren, Thomas (Shannon), Matthew (Wendy Horn), Peter (Joan), Julia (Russell) Daykin, Rebecca (James) Poniscan II, Geoffrey, Gabriella and Vanessa; great-granddaughter, Willow; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Glanville; many nieces and nephews.

PARMA

•Holman, Alma N., On May 30, 2010, age 79. She is survived by her loving companion of over 40 years Harold Barczak; daughter Helen Pat Struble; grandchildren, Tammy (Glen) McCarthy, Brian (Aida) Chinappi; two great-grandsons Alex and Aaron Chinappi; step daughters Vicki (Peter) Hall, Sandy (Ed McKinney) Barczak and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held June 4 at Lake View Cemetery, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Center in her memory.


•Webster, Elizabeth (House) “Betty,” Peacefully May 29, 2010, age 80. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Raymond (Mize) Webster; her children, Diane (Marvin) Gard of Santa Fe, Minnesota and Dale (Mary) Webster of Charlotte, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Jacqueline Carr (Jacob Lucero), Carrie Carr, Grace, Graham and Garrett Webster; three sisters, Vivian Schultz, Arleen Quetschenbach, Judy (Ron) Lockwood; sisters-in-law, Patricia House, Elsie and Ida Webster and Beatrice (Lee) Masters; brothers-in-law, Charles Maier and Merton Wohlers; many much loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Betty was a 55 year member of Parma Baptist Church.

Funeral Services were held June 5 at Parma Baptist Community Church. Interment, Parma Corners Cemetery. Contributions can be made to her church Memorial Fund or American Diabetes Association in her memory.
