ALBION

•Dollinger, Ralph H. Sr., age 78 died suddenly June 4, 2009 at his home. Mr. Dollinger was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church, B.P.O. Elks Albion Lodge #1006. He pitched for the Cincinnati Reds. Ralph was the #1 salesman for Duryea Ford in Holley and then owned and operated Dollinger Motors in Brockport 1967-1982. Ralph was an entrepreneur in many ways, with his wife he owned two motels in Albion, one in Medina and the Holiday Inn Express in Brockport. His real estate company “Slippery’s” was responsible for bringing Auto Zone and Monroe Muffler to Medina and Albion and Cole Muffler to Batavia. Ralph also owned and operated Dollinger’s Restaurant and Billy’s Pub in Albion as well as several properties in Western New York and Florida. Ralph had a great love for his Saint Bernards. He was predeceased by his parents Dr. Raphael and Marguerite, brother Bill, sister Mary Jane Dailey, son-in-law Richard Viza, brother-in-law Frank Vespi. Ralph is survived by his wife of 52 years Joyce (Coloney) Dollinger; children, Jim of Michigan, Diane Viza of Albion, William of Rochester, Ralph (Stephanie) of Medina, Patty (David) Kolb of Michigan, Dorothy (David) Daniels of Albion, Peggy Dollinger at home; 26 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret “Peggy” Hawley of Albion, Ann Peets of Canandaigua; sister-in-law Peggy Dollinger of Spencerport; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said June 9 in Holy Family Parish–St Joseph’s Church. Interment, St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Baxter, Scott A., On June 4, 2009 at the age of 51. Predeceased by his father Al Baxter. He is survived by his loving wife Holly; mother Mildred Baxter; brothers Kyle (Teena), Shane (Tammy), and Mark Baxter; sister Krindell (Richard) Seal; mother- and father-in-law Pat and Al Flaig; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held June 13 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport.


•Geiger, Linda F., June 6, 2009. Survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Robert; children, Benjamin and Zachary Geiger of Brockport; parents, Thomas and Shirley Fingland of Churchville; sisters, Sheryl (Al) Arilotta of Churchville, Wendy (Will) Harrington of Bergen; brother, Tim (Sue) Fingland of Chili; sister-in-law, Carol Gardiner; brother-in-law John Geiger; special friend, Christie Bower; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

CLARENDON

•Webster, Mary H., March 2, 2009 at age 98. Predeceased by her husband Cassius Webster; parents, Charles and Maude Hurlbut. Survived by children, Clark D. (Dorothy) Webster of Brockport, Marlene (R. Bernard) Yoffredo, Charles H. Webster of Florida; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mary was a music teacher in the Albion School district and country schools.

A Memorial Service will be held June 20 at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Holley. Donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Holley, or the Historical Society of Clarendon in her memory.


GATES

•Brongo, Alice M., June 6, 2009, at age 80. Predeceased by her husband, Charles; son Charles; brother, Arthur Edwards. She is survived by her children, Gary A. (Colleen) Brongo, Ernest (Cheryl) Brongo, Jeff (LuAnn) Brongo, Charlene (Stephen) Brongo, Tammy (James) Fiege, Kathy Tewksbury; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Louise Brongo, Sam Brongo, Louis and Ann Marie Brongo, Nick and Monica Brongo, Robert and Ann Brongo; many nieces and nephews.

•Allen, Robert W. “Bob,” age 47, June 10, 2009. He is predeceased by his brother, Daniel Allen; father-in-law, Richard Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Allen; their children, Dan (Kelly Mahar) Allen, Emily (Jeff Pohl) Allen, Julia Allen; parents, Arthur and Bernice Allen; brothers, Leon (Joyce) Allen, Peter Allen; sisters, Jacquelyn (Gary) Davis, Andrea (Dave) Deaton, Christine (Art) Wheat; mother-in-law, Doris Johnson; sisters-in-law, Robin (Scott) Haude, Cheri (Bob) Radwich; brothers-in-law, Tom (Carol) Johnson, Jim Johnson, Bob Johnson; and his aunt, Sr. Mary Andre; several cousins, nieces, nephews, friends; and his dog Sadie.

•Rockafellow, Duane A., June 8, 2009 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy (Lilly) Rockafellow. Survived by his children, David (Sheri), Brian (Jeanne), Daniel (Sandra) Rockafellow and Lynda (David) Smith; grandchildren, Courtney, Julie, Erica, Jamie, Michael, Andrew and Benjamin; his sisters, Naomi (Thomas) Clark, Linda (Jim) Engle; sister-in-law, Sandi Ireland; daughter-in-law, Kelly Myers; many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his brother, Dennis. He will be sorely missed by his “grandpups,” Tux, Tucker, Remy and Finn.

A Funeral Mass was said June 13 at St. Leo Church, Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. •Riley, Ruth I., June 5, 2009. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Arnold Riley. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Averil) Riley, Jeffrey (Lynda) Riley of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Alison (Jason) Parker; Kathryn and David Riley; great-granddaughter Averil Parker; sister, Rava Glasser of South Carolina. Ruth was a flight nurse in the Army Air Corps during WWII.

•Marquardt, Dorcas “Nanie,” on June 9, 2009, at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Edward Marquardt; daughter, Patricia Burr. She is survived by her grandchildren, Eric (Beth) Burr, Lisa (Joseph) Czerw; great grandchildren, Justin, Evan and Brian Burr, Jordyn and Samantha Czerw; son-in-law, Randall Burr; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held June 13 at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., Gates. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.


SPENCERPORT

•Adams, Robert C., June 7, 2009, at age 81. He is survived by his daughter, Judy and grandchildren. He was involved in Boy Scouting for over 70 years and was a member of the Wakan-Hubbard Masonic Lodge #154.

Funeral Services were held June 10 at New Comer Funeral Home, Greece. Private interment.
