BROCKPORT

•Connaroe, Clifford J., on June 24, 2008 at the age of 52. Predeceased by his father Richard J. Connaroe, sister Linda Losee and nephew Spec. Andrew Smith. He is survived by his children Amanda (Anthony) Wright, Richard (Devon) Connaroe; mother Genevieve Connaroe; sister Joyce (Pete) Smith; three grandchildren; two nieces, two nephews and four great nieces and great nephews.

Interment was held June 26 at Lake View Cemetery, Brockport.


CHILI

•Silvernail, Erica June, Suddenly with her grandmother Mary E. Legg on June 19, 2008, at age 14. She's survived by her mother, Tammie Silvernail; father Michael Silvernail; (stepmother Renee Silvernail); sister Renee Silvernail; several grandparents, great-grandparents; aunts, uncles and cousins. She will also be missed dearly by all of her friends. Erica was an honor student at Churchville-Chili Jr. High School where she was on the Science Olympiad Team, played basketball and was a member of the Chorus.

A Funeral Mass was said June 26 at St. Boniface Church, Rochester. Interment, private. Donations can be made to Golisano Children's Hospital, 300 East River Road, P.O. Box 23029, Rochester 14692 in her memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Olmsted, Robert W., June 22, 2008 at age 74. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Natalie J. Olmsted; his sons Philip R. Olmsted of Rochester and Walter E. (Sheryl) Olmsted of Daphne, Alabama; his grandsons Jacob and Zachary.

A Memorial Service was held June 28 at Union Congregational UCC, Churchville. Interment in Creekside Cemetery, Churchville at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund of Union Congregational UCC, 14 North Main Street, Churchville, 14428 in his memory


HILTON

•Richardson, Beverly (Nurse), June 24, 2008, age 60. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth J. Richardson; her son, Kenneth R. Richardson; two grandsons, Michael and Matthew; her sister, Patricia (Raymond) Polle; several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Wellington and Adeline Nurse.

Funeral Services were held June 28 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Living Waters Christian Fellowship, 13 Minute Man Trail, Rochester 14624 in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•DeMeritt, Barbara Cortright, age 81, formerly of Spencerport, died April 14, 2008 in North Port, Florida. Barbara was born on March 24, 1927 in Corning, New York. She married Edward L. DeMeritt in Corning on October 8, 1949. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward; one daughter, Joyce D. Klein (A. Andrew); four sons; E. Gordon (Linda B.); Jeffery A. (Claudia C.); Paul A. (Lorinda C.); Daniel K. (Tamara L.); sixteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. DeMeritt led a fruitful life of service to her family, her churches, and her community.

An interment service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Fairfield Cemetery, Union Street, Spencerport. A reception will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church, 191 Nichols Street, Spencerport. All friends are welcome to join the family in celebrating Barbara's life.


•Smith, Georgia W., on her 86th birthday, June 23, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Charles B. Smith; her sons Bradley W. (Mollie) Smith of Virginia and Robert C. Smith of Florida; her daughter, Debbie J. Smith of Spencerport; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Bartlow, David (Lee), Aristine (David) Maharry, Joseph and John Smith, Charles and Alexander Smith, Sara and Wyatt Smith; 11 great grandchildren; her sister Sara (Robert) Bechtold; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held June 25 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.


•Stevens, Shirley Y. (Yorkey), On June 19, 2008 in her 82nd year. A retiree from Genesee Country Museum in Mumford. Survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 56 years, Wallis E. Stevens; loving children, Ellen (Glen) Shaw of Williamson, Douglas W. Stevens, Beth (Dan) Ogden of Wilmington, North Carolina; special grandchildren, Adam Shaw, Casey Shaw and Douglas Bedard; sisters, Doris (Ward) Donahue of Rochester, June (Bernard) Fuller of Leonia, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Winfred Crockett of Tenant's Harbor, Maine and special friends.

A Celebration of her Life was held June 28 at 2 p.m. at the Ogden Baptist Church, Washington Street, Spencerport. Private interment, Sunnyside Cemetery, Williamson. Contributions can be made to Webster Comfort Care Home, 700 Holt Road, Webster, NY 14580 in her memory.


•Wiley, Carolyn S., 77, a summer resident of Cape Vincent, died June 8, 2008 at her summer home at 32310 Route 12 E. Mrs. Wiley was a homemaker. She married Philip Wiley of Cape Vincent on July 4, 1958, in Spencerport. She was a communicant of St. Vincent of Paul Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Spencerport. Surviving beside her husband are a son, Andrew John, Spencerport; a daughter, Mary Lou Mousseau, South Windsor, Connecticut; a sister, Eleanor Light, Oneida; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said June 13 at St. Vincent of Paul Church. Burial in St. Vincent of Paul Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Vincent of Paul Church, Cape Vincent.
