BROCKPORT

•Hussong, George E., August 9, 2010 at the age of 83. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Margaret (Wallin); daughters Mary (Thomas) Kallen and Eileen (David) Billings; sons Timothy (Margaret), Daniel (Lori) and Michael (Michele); grandchildren Tara Share, Lyndsey (Gary) Short, Courtney (Michael) Sedita, Ben (Kristin), Brittany, Devin, Ryan (Irene), Michael, Colby and Thomas Hussong and Brandon Kallen; great-grandchildren Chad Share Jr., Kerri Ann Cox, Martin Kohlmeier, Zoe Hussong and Nathan Short; brothers-in-law Robert (Ann) Wallin, Richard (Cindy) Wallin and Ferd Ohnsorg; and many nieces, nephews and good friends. He worked as an accountant for the Erie Railroad for 11 years, and then he and Margaret taught at Kendall Central School for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said August 14 at Nativity BVM Church in Brockport. Donations in his memory can be made to the George Hussong Memorial Scholarship Fund at Kendall Central School, c/o Business Office, 1932 Kendall Road, Kendall, NY 14476.


•Sckorohod, John A., Ret. Capt. U.S. Army, died suddenly July 10, 2010. Predeceased by parents, Mary and Anatole. Sckorohod and the love of his life, Heidi. Survived by sister Suzanne (Mark) Gardner; nephew Ian and niece Kristin of North Chili; brother Gregory (Cherie) Sckorohod of Seattle; nephews Greg, Alex and niece Sonja.

A Memorial Service will be held in the near future.

•Mattioli, Gabriella A. “LaLa” “Pickles,” Died August 10, 2010 after a courageous battle. Survived by her parents, Lisa E. Mattioli and Marco A. Mattioli; maternal grandparents, Nancy and Daniel Massie; paternal grandparents, Edward “NoNo” and Angelina “Mimi” Mattioli; siblings, Matthew Rowntree, David Rowntree, Gina Mattioli, Anthony Mattioli; several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

•Sant, Lois M. (Rider/Everts), August 4, 2010, age 84. Predeceased by her husbands, Donald Everts, 1976 and Edwin Sant, 2006 and her sons, Donald and William Everts. Survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Everts; her step-daughters, Linda (Grant) Osman and Virginia (James) Michaud; nieces and nephews including, Scott Everts, Todd (Nadim) Everts and Gary (Faith) Beaumont; four great-nieces and nephews, Kendra, Todd, Jr., Bella and Tyler; her “devoted neighbors,” Norm and Pat Harris.

Funeral Services were held August 9 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to American Red Cross or Greece Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.


•Schnucker, Dorothy, August 8, 2010, age 98. A longtime Hilton resident. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel. Survived by her children, Barbara Luffman of Elmira and Al (Liz) Schnucker of Pittsford; her grandchildren, Tracy (Mark) Proud of Ohio, Wendy (Steve) Chichester of Indiana and Debbie (John) Cherenosky of Maryland; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She and her late husband, owned and operated Schnucker Books & Antiques in Springwater, NY and she was a longtime member of Hilton Baptist Church and Parma-Hilton Historical Society.

•Taylor, Cedric E. “Slim,” August 2, 2010, age 88. Survived by his wife, Nancy (Gerow) Taylor; children, Paul (Amanda), Bob (Pat) Tramonto and Cathy (Jerry) Buccola; his brother Harvey Taylor; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Slim was a WWII veteran and a Kodak retiree.

A Memorial Service was held August 14 at Calvary Chapel of Greece, Kuhn Road. Private interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Calvary Chapel in his memory.


•Weed, Ann P., On August 4, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Ward L.; daughter, Karen Palotto; three step-daughters, Pamela Weed and Kevin Kenny, Linda (Norman) Wright, Cheryl (Nathaniel) Koschara; brother, Harry L. Miller Jr.; sister, Barbara (Wes) Tinsmon; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. Retiree of Eastman Kodak.

Funeral Services were held August 7 at Arndt Funeral Home, Greece. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.


HOLLEY

•Rowley, John T., Age 55, August 11, 2010. Survived by his wife of 17 years, Donna; sons: James (Kelly), Jeremy (Elissa), Benjamin, Andrew; daughters: Heather, Madeline; sister: Carol (John) Houck; grandchildren: Kailyn, Jonah, Cameron; his mother: Dorothy Rowley; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held August 13 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Inc., Holley. Interment, Hillside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Holley Fire Department in his memory.


•Vogt, Kathryn A., age 67, died August 10, 2010. Predeceased by sister Barbara Meli. Survived by husband of 46 years, William; sons William (Julie Joseph), Christopher (Kristin), Gregory (Robin); grandchildren Brittnie, Darion, Jeremiah, Jaimi; brother Paul (Carol) Faker; sister Patricia Biorde; cousin Joanne DeCracker; best friend Barbara (James) Fannon; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

NORTH CHILI

•Fuller, Lloyd N., On August 8, 2010 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his parents George and Florence Fuller; four brothers Idelbert, Robert, Sanford and Charles Fuller. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Wilhelmina Jean; son Lawrence (Susan); daughter Lorie (Michael) Ford; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Interment will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010, 1 p.m. at the Byron Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Batavia Nursing Home, 257 State Street, Batavia, NY 14202 in his memory.


•Troiano, Carrie, August 6, 2010. Survived by three children, Dr. Raymond (Diana) Troiano, Claire (Samuel) Utter, Patricia (Fred) Fischer; four grandchildren, Jason, Tracy, Kelly and Karrie; eight great-grandchildren, Tommy, Ella, Michael, Naomi, Sophia, Katie, Logan, Elizabeth. Carrie was a member of the Eastern Star and was a Secretary to the Principal at Eastridge High School for over 25 years.

Her Funeral Mass was said August 10 at St. Christopher’s Church, North Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Diabetes Association in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Harrison, Cletus J. “Clete,” August 9, 2010 at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Doris (Hysner) Harrison; his children Kathleen (Richard) Pellegrin and James Harrison; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Foser, Jillian and Julia Pellegrin, Jessica (Ashley) Jackson; his great-granddaughters, Makayla, Angel, Jordan, Keira and Brianna; many nieces and nephews.

•Kurnik, Isabelle E. (Guminski), August 11, 2010, beloved wife of Chester W. Kurnik; loving mother of Margaret (Aldo) Mannoni, Virginia (Michael) Dugan and the late Richard Kurnik; cherished grandmother of Eric Mannoni; dear sister of Stephania (late John) Staniszewski and the late Henrietta (late Benjamin) Kaminski; sister-in-law of Kathleen (late Stephen) Kurnik; also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said August 14 at SS Peter & Paul Church, Williamsville. A Memorial Mass was held August 18 at St. John’s Church, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.


•Lennington, Wilbur L. (Bud), August 6, 2010 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his wife Eleanor, he is survived by his son, Robert W. Lennington; daughters, Constance (Andrew) Liwen, and Victory Cooper; grandchildren, Whitney Hoss, Amber and Alexander Lennington, Gregory and Cynthia Liwen and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Laverne (Alicia) Strathearn, Roger (Christine) Lennington and sister Marilyn (Harold) Athoe; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Spencerport Wesleyan Church. He served 5 years in the Army during WWII and was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.
