•Fimbel, Richard M., August 9, 2009, at age 28. An avid hunter, he is survived by his parents, Richard and Jerri Fimbel of Bergen; a brother Paul Fimbel of Rochester; a niece, Mackenzie Fimbel of Greece; grandmother, Dorothy Fimbel of Tennessee; grandfather, Richard Reed of Indiana. He is a grandson of the late Paul Fimbel and Margaret Reed.

Funeral Services were held August 15 at Bergen United Methodist Church. Interment, Mt. Rest Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, 10 Manhattan Square Drive, Rochester 14607 in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Wetzler, Kathleen V., On August 12, 2009 at the age of 56. Predeceased by her children Benjamin and Matthew. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Donald; son Christopher; siblings Ellen Gniewek (Stewart Epstein), Margaret (John) Kunis, Lawrence (Leah) Pengel, Joan (William) Waxman; special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service was held August 15 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Contributions can be made to St. Ann’s Community, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester 14621.


BYRON

•Haroian, Ruth S., August 6, 2009, age 83, wife of George Haroian of Byron; mother of Nancy (Jacque) Barber of Bergen, David Haroian of Springwater, Richard Haroian and Robert Haroian, both of Tampa, Florida; grandmother of Melanie Barber of Bergen; sister of the late Daniel Necle.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial in Byron Cemetery. Contributions can be made to City Church, 210 East Main Street, Batavia 14020 in her memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Nickolini, Thomas M., August 5, 2009, age 56. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Jennie Nickolini. Survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Carol (Paparone) Nickolini; his brother, Michael (Betty) Nickolini; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Rose Paparone; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Chuck (Laurie) Paparone, Amy (Bernie) Visconti; also many aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Services and interment private.


HAMLIN

•Rockow, Gertrude S., Peacefully, August 6, 2009, age 100. Survived by her sons David (Mary Lou) and Duane (Cherie) Rockow; her sisters, Mildred Rath and Adeline (Larry) Merritt; sister-in-law, LuDeen Schepler; grandchildren, Kirstin (Jeffery) Penders, William (Donna), Michael (Pamela), Douglas (Kimberly), Keith (Zoraya) and Brent Rockow; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held August 11 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Private interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to St. John Lutheran Church in her memory.


KENDALL

•Snell, Henrietta “Hynee,” Age 96, August 4, 2009. Predeceased by husband Charles, brothers, Clyde, Glen and Walter Reamer, sister Bessie Tomaschke and grandson, Kenneth Snell. Survived by sons Charles “Skip” Snell, Richard Snell; granddaughter Kelly (Dan) Bills; great grandchildren Jordan and Amanda Bills; several nieces, nephews, and friends including special friends John and Wendy Becker and Mary Herring.

A Memorial Service was held August 10 at Kendall United Methodist Church. Interment, West Kendall Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the church or the Kendall Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary in her memory.


RIGA

•Perkins, Keith Arthur, Died August 10, 2009, age 37, leaving beloved wife, Tanya (Trezise); children Issac (8), Grant (8), and Alena (6). He leaves loving parents, Rev. G. Benjamin Perkins and Ruth Perkins and siblings, Katrina and Bob Wilkins, Dr. Kurt and Lindsay Perkins; extended family and many friends. Keith began his college career at Roberts Wesleyan College and graduated from Clarkson University with a degree in mechanical engineering.

A Funeral Service was held August 16 at Pearce Memorial Free Methodist Church, North Chili. Interment, York Settlement Cemetery, North Rose, New York. Contributions made will be used for the children’s education.
