•Krekic, Herman, August 23, 2010 in Tampa, Florida after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife Debbie; children Constance (Robert) Stoeks, Christopher, Susan (Michael) Jessmer, Gretchen (Mark) Calhoun; five grandchildren; and former wife Evelyn. Herman was a veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict and a retiree of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.


HILTON

•Burton, Dorothy A. “Dottie” (Frisbee), Suddenly September 4, 2010. Survived by her husband, Paul N. Burton; her daughter, Lorrie (Glenn) Harris; grandchildren, Lewis and Rebecca Harris; brother, Larry (Janet) Frisbee; sister Helen Priestley; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son, Ron Seitz and her brother, Jack Frisbee.

Funeral Services were held September 8 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to G.R.A.S.P. or the American Cancer Society in her memory.


•Gallipeau, Herbert, September 5, 2010, age 78. Survived by his wife, Arlene (Brownell) Gallipeau; children, Glenn (Nancy) and Scott (Judy) Gallipeau, Lisa (Gary) Dobosz; four children, Amy (Steve) Calkins, Sean Milligan, Lindsay and Nicholas Gallipeau; six great-grandsons, Joel, Josiah, Benjamin, Lucas, Matthew and Jude; his sister, Shirley (George) Bittner; extended family and special friends, Charlie Chick and Jan Gulick.

A Memorial Service was held September 11 at Hilton Baptist Church. Private Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Hilton Fire Department Ambulance Corps or Hildebrandt/Lifetime Hospice, 3111 South Winton Road, Rochester, 14626 in his memory.


HOLLEY

•DeMarco, Dorothy J. (McPhillips), age 91. September 6, 2010. Retiree of General Electric. Survived by two children, Patricia (Neil) Passarell, Frank (Jackie) DeMarco Jr. both of Holley; four grandchildren, Michelle, Michael (Lorraine), Kelli, Frank III; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister and brothers-in-law, Ellen Wahl, Louise Bell, Carolyn McPhillips, Sandy McPhillips; nieces, nephews. Predeceased by husband Frank in 1991; siblings, Jack, Arthur, Thomas, Robert, Maryann, Jean, Evelyn, Marge, Arlene.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said September 11 at St. Mary’s Church, Holley. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Orleans County Nursing Home activities fund in her memory.


KENDALL

•Rutland, Andre, on Sunday, September 5, 2010. He is survived by a host of relatives.

Funeral Services were held September 11 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Interment, Lake View Cemetery.


NORTH CHILI

•Vasile, Pasqualina (Cerqua), September 7, 2010. Predeceased by her husband, Arthur J. Vasile; sister, Mary Savery, brother, Vincent Cerqua and daughter-in-law Susan Vasile. Survived by her sons, Michael (Carolyn) Vasile, Thomas (Deborah) Vasile and Arthur (Mary) Vasile; grandchildren, Thomas (Krista), Christopher, Laura, Gregory, Kathleen and Ashley Vasile; great-grandchild Jackson Vasile; sisters and brother, Ida (Augie) Tuffo, Dominick (Jenny) Cerqua and Gloria (Sam) Trapani; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated September 10 at St. Christopher’s Church, North Chili. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be sent to the Golisano Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627 in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Mallo, Samuel, Died September 2, 2010 at age 79. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Mamie Mallo; brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Mallo; sister and brother-in-law, John and Mary Mallo; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and George Tartaglia. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Rita; children, Joanne (Bob) Bell, Samuel (Dorene) Mallo, Rick (Michelle) Mallo; grandchildren, Melissa (Paul) Kowalewski, Christina (Kevin) Jeffers, Scott (Kimberly) Bell; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Leah) Mallo, Dave (Sue) Mallo; sister, Margie (Jim) Fitzmaurice and many nieces and nephews. Sam was a United States Army Veteran, who served during the Korean War.

Funeral Services were held September 11 at the New Comer Funeral Home, Greece. Private interment.


•Watkins, Barbara J. (Goodwin), September 6, 2010 at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles W. Watkins; her daughters, Dodie (Stephen) Fuller and Nancy (Rick) Wolfe) grandchildren, Will and Emilia and Elyse and Amanda; great grandson, Ayden; siblings, Carol Oehlbeck and Richard Goodwin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A Memorial Service was held September 11 at Spencerport United Methodist Church, Spencerport. Interment was held privately. Contributions can be made to Aurora House Comfort Care, P.O. Box 21, Spencerport, 14559 or Spencerport United Methodist Church, 32 Amity Street, Spencerport 14559 in her memory.
