•D’Aurizio, Rev. Joseph, September 4, 2009. Long time pastor of St. John the Evangelist Church of Greece and former assistant pastor of St. Leo Church, Hilton. Survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Susan D’Aurizio; his niece, Eleanor D’Aurizio; several cousins.

His Funeral Liturgy was said September 10 at St. John the Evangelist Church of Greece with Bishop Matthew H. Clark presiding. Interment, Holy Sepulchre’s Priest’s Plot. Contributions can be made to Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester, Inc., 150 French Road, Rochester 14618 or the Catholic Charity of one’s choice in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•Jennejohn, Luella M., September 3, 2009, age 89. Survived by her daughter, Patricia Gay; grandsons, Danny (Jennifer) Everett, Keith Gay; two great-granddaughters, Alexis Gay and Jasmine Thornton and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held September 13 at 2 p.m. at Walker Bible Baptist Church. Contributions can be made to the Lakeside Memorial Hospital Twig Association, Brockport, NY in her memory.


•Welch, Maurice E., On September 8, 2009 at the age of 88. He is survived by his children Donald (Marlene) Welch, Bonnie (Patrick) Markham, Edward (Alita) Welch; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held September 13 at the First Presbyterian Church, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Nicaraguan School Project (contact Donald Welch for information).


HAMLIN

•Ingraham, Marjorie (Ford), Peacefully, September 4, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Marge was predeceased by her husband, Richard, 1988. Survived by her children, Thomas (Julia) Ingraham, Susan (Jeffery) Miller, Stephen (Sandy) Ingraham, Lynda (Kenneth) Sikorski and Stacey (Paul) Gionta; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Overslaugh; her close friend Pat Connors; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A Memorial Service was held September 9 at Clarkson Community Church. Private interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Orleans County Hospice or Morton Baptist Church in her memory.


HILTON

•Dargusch, Lauretta (Pratt), September 1, 2009, age 98. Predeceased by her husband, Loren, 1997; and her son Gary, 1994. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and JoAnn Dargusch; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service was held September 9 at St. James Episcopal Church, Batavia. Interment, Morganville Cemetery.


•Wheeler, George F. “Jake,” Age 77, August 31, 2009. Predeceased by his wife, Audrey; son, George Jr.; and brother, Charles. He is survived by his children, Kathleen (Keith) Crayton, Kathie (Joe) Sackel, Audrey (Bill) Smith, Harold Wheeler; brother, Gerald (Lisa); sister, Mary (Thomas) Kearney; grandchildren, Bill (Deb), Alice (Brian), Chuck (Cindy), Aaron, Adrienne, Cassandra, Jeremy, Thomas, Austin, Cory and Collin; eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held September 5 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in his memory.


NORTH CHILI

•Merkel, Frances J. (Diehl), September 3, 2009 at age 76. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Lee Merkel; her daughters, Karen (Richard) Olson and Janine (David) Resch; her grandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Rapp, Andrew (Katherine) Resch, Alexander Maher and Daniel (Lorianne) Resch; her siblings, Nancy Nevelizer and Frank (Anne) Diehl; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held September 5 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Genesee Country Museum in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Shults, Laura, Suddenly, September 7, 2009, age 40. Predeceased by her mother, Anita. Survived by her children, Aaron, Brennen, Talon and Hunter; father, William; and siblings, Carrie, Bonnie and Eric; boyfriend Rob.

Services were held September 11 at Open Arms M.C.C., Chili.
