•Blind, Barbara L., October 14, 2010 at age 73. She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Gerald Blind; children, Steve Blind of California and Patty (Edward) Dries; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Joshua, Cassandra and Melissa; one great-grandchildren that’s on the way; sister, Clara Crowell; brother, Robert (Carol) Rathbun; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends.

Her Memorial Service was held October 18 at Hope Lutheran Church, Greece. Interment, Mt. Rest Cemetery, Bergen. Contributions can be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Rochester 14626 in her memory.


BROCKPORT

•Maloney, Gertrude A., On October 16, 2010, at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Paul Maloney and son Donald Koons. She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Orr, Gloria Amato, Donna (Jerry) Thurley; several grand and great-grandchildren; sister Lorraine Inclema; special nieces Cheryl (Al) Honan and Linda (Bob) Fiorito.

A Funeral Mass was held October 22 at the Nativity Church BVM, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.


•Quinn, Ann M., October 17, 2010. She is survived by her loving daughters Patricia and husband Robert Molnar of Brockport, Pamela and her husband Mason Dye of Wirtz, Virginia and Geraldine and husband William Ford of Wellsville, New York; grandchildren Mark and wife Sallie Molnar of Lancaster, Ohio, David Molnar of Rochester, Kevin Dye of Wellsville, Jeffrey and wife Nancy Dye of Jonesville, Virginia, Nicole Dye of Moneta, Virginia, Jason and wife Elizabeth Ford of Midlothian, Virginia and Colleen and husband Timothy Easton of Medina, Ohio; brothers John Falzarano of Hornell and Mike Falzarano of Villa Park, Illinois and sister Peggy and husband Clayton Collins of Windermere, Florida; eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert married 53 years, sisters Josephine Susi and Angie Miller and brothers James Falzarano and Dominic Falzarano.

A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory can be made to Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 156 West Avenue, Brockport 14420.


CHILI

•Cordon, Phyllis R. (Genthner), October 16, 2010 at age 79. She is survived by her loving children, Rae Watley, Richard (Renee) Cordon and Michelle (Paul) Nowacki; grandchildren, Kimberly, Danielle, Marques, Justin, Paige, Benjamin, and Megan; sisters, Betty Sellinger, and Edith Chaya; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held October 19 at the New Comer Funeral Home, Greece. Private interment.


HILTON

•McCulley, Mary B., October 17, 2010, age 82. She will be remembered by her daughters, Patricia (Eberhard) Widemann of Virginia and Debra (Kenneth) Fisher of Spencerport; many friends. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Clarence W. McCulley; parents, Frank and Anna Balla; and brother Frank Balla.

All services were private.


KENDALL

•Jurhs, Everett A. “Red,” age 83, died October 16, 2010 in Rochester General Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Jurhs was a member of Corcordia Lutheran Church-Kendall, Kendall Lions Club, Albion Lodge #1006 BPOE, and the Kendall Fire Department. Mr. Jurhs was predeceased by his wife Deanie, brother, Richard Jurhs, grandson, Arthur Jurhs, and great granddaughter Olivia Faith Johnston. He is survived by his son, Tom (Paula) Jurhs of Colorado; his daughter Pam (Larry) Rowles of Kendall; grandchildren, Kristy (Owen) Johnston, Stacey (Gordy Baxter) Rowles, Bob Hedge, Raina (JH) Bridge, Alex Jurhs, Dean Jurhs; sister Madalon Young of Kendall; sister-in-law, Nona (Al) Antczak; dear companion, Shirley Smith; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held October 23 at Concordia Lutheran Church-Kendall. Private interment, Beechwood Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Church, Kendall Lions Scholarship Fund or the Kendall Ambulance Fund in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Charron, Craig M., October 19, 2010 at age 42. Predeceased by his mother, Anne. Survived by his loving wife, Wendy; four children, Jackson, Nicholas, Hunter and Emma; father, Maurice; sisters, Anne-Margaret Charron (Tracy McGrath), Elizabeth (Eric) Pushee; brother, Joseph (Linda); in-laws, Gail and Walter Stearns; brothers-in-law, Gary (Laura) Falkengren, Craig (Debra) Falkengren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. Craig was a member of the Rochester Americans Hall of Fame and the former varsity hockey coach at Spencerport High School.

Services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made in Craig’s memory to The Rochester Americans Alumni Association c/o Daryl Drader, 111 VanVoorhis Avenue, Rochester 14617 for the Children’s Educational Fund.
