•Stephens, Thomas R., October 17, 2008 at age 63; husband of 45 years to Barbara; father of Thomas R. Stephens Jr. and Donald M. Stephens; grandfather of Shelby and Kimberly Stephens of Cuba; brother of Delores Bailor of Friendship and the late Joan Meyers, Charles, James, Richard and Victor Stephens; brother-in-law of Donna (Mark) Kramer of Bergen, Bonnie Jary of Albion, Donald (Deborah) Jones of Albion, Harry (Cindy) Jones of Holley, David Jones and Charles Meyers of Naples; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 30 years.

Funeral Services were held October 21 at the H. E. Turner and Co. Funeral Home, Bergen. Contributions in his memory can be made to a college fund for his beloved granddaughters Shelby and Kimberly Stephens.

•Conte, Mary Ann (Voellinger), On October 17, 2008. Predeceased by her loving husband Anthony "Tony" Conte. Survived by her children Kevin M. Conte of North Carolina, Anthony L. (Barbara) Conte and Dina A. Trinca; grandchildren, Eric and Ross Conte of Idaho and their mother Connie Slaughter, Ashley Ann and Kiana Lynn Trinca and their father Frank Trinca.

A Funeral Mass was said October 22 at Nativity Church of the BVM, Brockport. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund, c/o Breast Cancer Coalition, 200 Park Avenue, Rochester 14607 in her memory.


•Mendell, Betty, On October 16, 2008. She is survived by her loving partner Dick Chapman; daughter Sandra (Lee) Imabnit; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sister Shirley Thorn and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held October 18 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contribuitons can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Lifetime Care Hospice in her memory.


•Moyer, Charles L., age 66, died October 20, 2008 at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born July 15, 1942 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, a son of Leroy and Phyllis Moyer and had lived in this area most of his life. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother John; sister Lorraine. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Laurie; mother Phyllis of Albion; children Doug, Deanna, Charlene, Sonya, Ryan, Travis, Kelly; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings Delores, Eddie, Dennis, Merlin, Darius, Roxanne, Denise, Tammy, Darrell, Darla; aunts Betty Tower, Fay DeClerck, Pauline Reich, Pearl; uncles Ernest Moyer, Junior Moyer, Andy Moyer; many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Funeral Services were held October 23 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Interment, Sandy Creek Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Strong Memorial Hospital Wilmot Cancer Center in his memory.


•VanDurme, Elizabeth I. "Bette," On October 18, 2008 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Inez Parry; step-father George Miller; husband Raymond; sons, Robert and William; brother Richard Parry; friend and companion John Wassink. She is survived by her sister Patricia Rothwell of Plymouth, New York; many VanDurme brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and close and cherished friends of many years.

•Harrison, Martha B. "Marty," October 15, 2008 at age 78. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Bates. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Charles M. Harrison; her children, Cindy (Ralph) Evans, Deborah (Mark Popiela) Bates, Jody (Terry) Clark, Jeff (Paula) Harrison; grandchildren, Sally, Jody, Jameson, Jessica, Allisyn, Samuel, Max, Amanda and Tracy; great granddaughter, Abigail; sister, Joan (Don) Kensinger. Marty was a 30-year member of the Union Congregational UCC of Churchville.

•Preston, Patricia H., died October 13, 2008 at age 64, after a brief illness. Predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Helen Himes of Parma. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Eugene "Gene" Preston; her children, Kimberly "Kim" Torres (Richard Rawle), Mark (Mary) Preston and Karen (David) Wieme; six grandchildren, Brittany, Chelsea, Lydia, Sean, Michael and Raina; five sisters, Nancy (Robert) Thompson, Beverly (Ed) Huber, Elaine (John) Lissow, Diane (Dale) Rowe and Barbara (David) Miroff; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Donna Preston; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

•Leggett, Robert D. Jr. "Bobby," On October 21, 2008 at the age of 40. Beloved son of Robert Leggett and Rita Cliff. Beloved father of Josiah Weizorak-Leggett and Destiny Weizorak; many loving relatives and friends.

•Flood, Willliam H., age 94, October 19, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Alanna Flood; sister, Grace Donahue; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Naomi; daughter, Janice; six brothers and sisters.

KENDALL

•Vick, William Leon, age 69, died suddenly, October 18, 2008, Mr. Vick was a lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church and the Kendall Fire Department. Bill served as an Orleans County Legislator, an Administrator in Kendall Town Government, and was a member of the Kendall Lions Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sheryl L. (Preston) Vick; his children: Valerie (Edward) Gaesser, Jeffrey (Tresel) Vick, Shawn (Karen) Vick, Robin (Randy) Bower; his grandchildren: Amanda, Jenna, Laura, Rebecca and Evan Gaesser, Zachary, Preston and Tessa Vick, Ian and Challiss Vick, Jessica and Jacob Bower; his siblings: Marilyn Reynolds, Thomas (Christy) Vick, Patricia (Robert) Pitcher; and his aunt: Marion Vick.

A Funeral Service was held October 25 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Kendall. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, Kendall Fire Department or the Northstar Sportsman Club in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Capobianco, Antonio "Tony," October 16, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Tina; son Nick; daughter, Maria (Paul) Dinella; grandchildren, Cristina, Elizabeth and Anna Dinella; along with many friends. He was born in Gaeta, Italy, and came to the United States in 1956 and was a retiree of Rochester Gas & Electric.

Services and interment were private. Contributions can be directed to St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha Street, Spencerport, NY 14559 in his memory.


•Olson, Kimberly A., October 16, 2008 at age 22. Predeceased by her paternal grandparents Odeen and Ruth Olson; maternal grandfather Larry Kennedy. Survived by her loving parents Randy and Sharon (Kennedy) Olson; beloved sister Sara Olson; maternal grandmother Theresa Kennedy; aunts and uncles Lynn (Gary) Rivers, Larry Kennedy, Kari (Tom) Olson-Fumia, David (Aida) Olson and Sylvia Olson; cousins Trina Kelly and Joe Rivers, Heather, Fumia and Erika Olson; her extended family including her special neighbors, many dear friends, Creekside School and everyone at LAI Horizon Park.
