•Harris, Helen S. (Sapienza), age 82, at Unity Hospital. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 58 years, Kenneth Harris; daughters Mary, Martha (Dennis) Terilli, and Anne (Adam) Wilcox; sons Joseph (Cathrine), Andrew (Bridget), Daniel (Beatrice), and Charles; sister Mary (Howard) Sprague; brothers James (Anne) and Guy (Judy) Sapienza; sisters-in-law, Jean Sapienza and Gail (Laramie) Smith; grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, Haley, Simon, Manny, Naomi, and Pearl Harris, Peter, Annie, and Claire Terilli, Lila, Iris and Oscar Wilcox and many cherished nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by brothers Charles, Samuel, Paul, Joseph and Harry Sapienza, niece Nancy Sapienza and nephew and godson Paul Sprague.

A Funeral Mass was said November 2 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brockport. Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 in her memory.


•Wilson, Doris M., On October 9, 2009 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Irving, grandchildren Harold and Tracy Burgess of Brockport; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter Candy of Albion; son Irving (Nancy) of Albion; sister Irene Burley of Hamlin; grandchildren Keith Wilson of Holley, Angela (Terry) Peragene of Holley; two great grandchildren David Burgess of Brockport, Danny St. George of North Carolina; special niece Bonnie (Roger) Luce of Brockport; nieces and nephews Peggy Charles, Donna Green, Frank Roe, Donald Green and Timothy Roe.

Interment, Beechwood Cemetery.


HAMLIN

•Wolfe, Filippa, Suddenly, October 31, 2009. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Terry Wolfe; son, Aaron (Kim Saucke) Wolfe; mother, Maria Comella; brothers, Agostino, Marcello, Giuseppe, Giovanni Comella; sisters, Angela, Silvanna Comella; and her only grandchild, Armanni Wolfe. Predeceased by her daughter, Chiara Wolfe in 2004.

•Bosak, Mikail, November 2, 2009. Survived by several relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held November 5 at the Slavic Pentecostal Church, Parma. Interment Parma Corners Cemetery.


HOLLEY

•Boyd, Austin James, Born October 18, 1990 died suddenly October 28, 2009. Austin was an Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 59 of Clarendon; Lodge Chief, Ashokwahta Lodge #339 BSA, student at MCC and a 2009 graduate of Holley Central School District. He is survived by his parents Ronald E. and Tracy A. Boyd of Holley; brothers Jordan Boyd of Holley and Eric Letkauskas of Rochester; grandparents Rudy Scheithier of Webster, William and Doris Boyd of Avon and Caledonia; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

•Johnston, Harry N., October 29, 2009 at age 82. He was predeceased by his brother and sister. Survived by his wife, Shirley (Donoghue); children, Debra Pohl, Shawn (Debbie), Bart (Judy), Noreen (Gerald) Carr, Bradley and Kevin Johnston; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Rita (Joseph) Signorelli; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was said November 3 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Private interment.


NORTH CHILI

•Clement, Mary Alice (Brubaker), October 25, 2009, age 82. She was predeceased by her parents John T. and Lillian (Romig) Brubaker. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul H. Clement; her children, Bruce R. Clement and his wife Lua of Churchville, Nancy J. Clement and her husband Dale of Knoxville, Tennessee, Robert W. Clement of Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia and Joyce L. Clement of Bristol, Connecticut; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Greiner of Bridgeport, New York and Susan Holmes of Columbia Station, Ohio. Alice retired in 1992 from Chili Plastics Inc. after 25 years of service as Purchasing Agent.

•Minardo, Barbara J. On October 20, 2009, at age 74. She is survived by her husband Eddie; children, Cathy (Joe) Garcia, Ron (Pam) Minardo, Janet (Bob) Walton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Dawn) Dominik.

Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.


KENDALL

•DeLorme, Calvin F., Unexpectedly, October 29, 2009 at age 84. He is predeceased by his wife, Betty M. DeLorme; many brothers and sisters. Survived by his son, Bruce (Becky) DeLorme; daughter, Wendy (Dave) DeLorme-Knapp; grandchildren, Brian, Katy, Jennifer, Jessica and Raymond; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Kate) DeLorm; many nieces, nephews and cousins and dear companion, Martha Roedel. Calvin worked at Micro Instruments for over 60 years and also served on the Board of Directors. Calvin had a passion for all types of antiques and collectibles. He attended auctions weekly even up to the day of his tragic passing.

A Memorial Service was held November 2 at New Comer Funeral Home, Greece. Private interment. Contributions can be made to the Kendall Ambulance or to the Kendall Volunteer Fire Department in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Converse, James D. “A.J. Hood,” Survived by his mother Margaret Converse; beloved wife, Betsy (Tulley); daughters, Cathi (Andy) Squier and Judy (Richard) Champlin; precious grandsons, Jacob Squier, Ross and Rory Champlin; granddogs, Casi and Baili. Jim was a Vietnam Army veteran and retired from the Spencerport Central School District after 26 years.

Services were held November 7 at the Patchen and Briggs VFW Post, Rochester. Contributions can be made to the Patchen and Briggs VFW Post #307, 933 University Avenue, Rochester, to a local American Legion or to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory.


•Drury, Gerald F. “Jerry” “Bompa,” On October 30, 2009 at age 76. He was predeceased by his loving wife whom he missed everyday, Diane Q. Drury; his mother, Frances T. Koppler and his father, Hurley Drury; his sisters, Marilyn DiDomenico and Beverly Walters. He is survived by his children, Deborah (Tim White) Drury, Rick (Donna) Drury; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Scibona, Shawna (Kenny) Geil, Rick Drury Jr.; great-grandchildren, Nicolina Scibona, Dominic Scibona and Lily Geil; brothers-in-law Joseph DiDomenico and Arthur Walters; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held November 2 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Private interment. Contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice in his memory.


•Gardner, Henry Frank, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Spencerport, age 69, died October 23, 2009. He is survived by his wife Judith Ehrmentraut Gardner; parents Henry and Anna Gardner; children Debbie Hunt, Linda Yueckstock, Scott Gardner and Todd Gardner; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandchild, Dana.

Services were held November 6 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 East Main Street, Mesa, Arizona.


•McDonnell, William L., October 30, 2009. Predeceased by his daughter, Mary Alice Silvas; and son, William G. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary; daughter-in-law, Shauni McDonnell; brothers, Michael (AnneMarie), Edward (Marilyn); sisters, Catherine (John) Tunney, Elizabeth McDonnell. William was an active member of Knights of Columbus, Father Baker’s Council and 4th Degree at St. Jude’s Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Churchville Post.

A Funeral Mass was said November 2 at St. Jude the Apostle Church, Gates. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, New York. Contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Church, 4100 Lyell Road, Rochester 14606 in his memory.


•Schultz, Albert W., November 1, 2009 at age 95. He was predeceased by wife Lois, sister Alice. He is survived by sons, John (Janet) and David (Bridget) Schultz; grandchildren, Genesa (Jesse), Carla, Brenda and Jason Schultz, Leo Sullivan Schultz, Alex and Lisa Larkin and Billy Sullivan; four great-grandchildren; four sisters; many great friends; and his beloved dog Baby.

A Memorial Service was held November 5 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery.
