BROCKPORT

•Ergott, Kathleen M., November 6, 2009, at the age 91. Predeceased by her husband Clifford; brother Roy Johnson Jr. She is survived by her daughter June; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held November 10 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Lakeside-Beikirch Care Center, Brockport in her memory.


•Fulton, Alice Mae, Passed away suddenly and peacefully to join her soul mate of 65 years James, on November 7, 2009. She is survived by her beloved daughter, JoAnne and grandson Harris Weiss; niece Linda MacKay; special family friends Cheryl and James Brown, Carol Barnard, Sabra and Gunnar Richardson and a multitude of close friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of her life was held November 15 at the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport. Private interment. Contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Brockport or Lakeside Memorial Hospital in her memory.


CHURCHVILLE

•Jones, Donald A., November 5, 2009, at age 70. He was predeceased by his parents Donald C. and Frances Jones; brother, Rodney K. Jones. Don is survived by wife, Nancy; daughters, Karen (Phil) Stein and Diane (Thomas) Pawlik; grandsons, Trevor and Damien Stein; sisters-in-law, Laurie Kalwas and Julie (Lee) Trujillo; several nieces and nephews. Don was a 34-year member of the Churchville Lions Club and avid fisherman, boater and hunter.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated November 9 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment, St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Churchville Lions Club or the Churchville Fire Department in his memory.


•Ward, Joan C. (Burdick), November 3, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished wife of David, for 45 years; loving mother of Kimberly (Robert), Jeffrey (Karen) and Kelly; beloved grandmother of Elizabeth, Nikolas and Matthew. Survived by her sister, Pauline Chipperfield and her aunt, Florence Adams. She was predeceased by her parents, Carroll and Louise Burdick. Joan was an avid quilter and member of the Brockport Quilting group and the Genesee Valley Quilting Guild. Joan loved music and sang bass with the Sweet Adelines for many years.

Funeral Services were held November 8 at Asbury First United Methodist Church, Rochester. Contributions can be made to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester 14642 or the Asbury First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 1050 East Avenue, Rochester 14607 in her memory.


CLARKSON

•Heffron, James C., November 5, 2009. James joined his mother and father James and Victorine. He is survived by his sister Terry C. Collins; daughters Lori (Bill Spruce) Brice, Vicki (Bob) Brawn, Lisa Smith, and their mother Olive Heffron of Florida; grandchildren Patrick (Lindsay), Tommy, Justin, Matthew, Danielle, and Eric.

Contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice in his memory.


HAMLIN

•Speer, Charles F., November 8, 2009, at 63 years of age. Predeceased by his parents, Franklyn (Mildred Rath) Speer; brother, Francis. Survived by his siblings, Pamela (James) Nesbitt, Greg (Kathleen) Speer; nieces and nephews, Matthew (Renny) Nesbitt, Troy (Tricia) Nesbitt, Shad (Staryl) Speer, Kami Speer (Jonathan Blanco), Brynn Speer (Brian Beaudin); great nieces and nephews, Reese Nesbitt, Callahan Speer, Colby Speer; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

HILTON

•Gaurin, Katherine E. (George), November 6, 2009. Predeceased by husbands, David George and Elston Gaurin. She is survived by her children, John, Bill (Jet), Donnie (Stephanie) George; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Katherine was the Valedictorian of her Senior Class in Kinsman, Ohio. She attended Youngstown University School of the Arts and was an Eastman Kodak Retiree.

Private interment. Contributions can be made to the Lakeside Beikirch Care Center, 170 West Avenue, Brockport 14420 in her memory.


•Heinrich, Lola Rae, age 73, after a courageous battle with cancer November 10, 2009. Predeceased by her parents Edward (Dorothy Morrow) Gable. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John L. Heinrich; their children George (Janet) Heinrich, John E. Heinrich; brother Edward Gable; sister Dee Weber; grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, Jessica; nieces, nephews and close friends. Lola, a Syracuse University Alumni and former Secretary Treasurer of the Ogden Telephone Company, was past president of the Iroquois Region Rolls Royce Owners Club, past member of the Parma Library Board. She and her husband co-founded the Hilton Apple Fest Auto Show.

A Celebration of her life was held November 15 at St. George Episcopal Church, Hilton. Contributions can be made to the Hilton Ambulance Corps, 120 Old Hojack Lane, Hilton 14468 or to the Parma Public Library, 7 West Avenue, Hilton 14468 in her memory.


HOLLEY

•Lutes, Noel J., Age 40, died suddenly, November 5, 2009. He is survived by his wife Tyanna; son Keith; daughter Alicia, both at home; parents, Arthur and Eugenia of Holley; brothers Eric of Holley, Scott (Chris) of Holley; mother-in-law Helen (Allen) Bilohlavek of Byron; nieces, Jamie, Jeana, Deanna; nephews, Jason, Jeffrey, Stephen, Bailey; sisters-in-law Robyn (Steve) Schubmehl of Holley, Alana (Paul) Draper) Bilohlavek of Batavia; grandmother Esteleen (Wise) Harney of Indiana; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

KENDALL

•Taber, Doris L., On November 7, 2009, at the age of 82. Predeceased by her parents George and Lucy Gunter and three brothers. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ralph; children Dale (Nancy), Roger (Darlene); grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held November 14 at the Kendall United Methodist Church. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Lifetime Care Hospice or the Kendall United Methodist Church in her memory.
