•Doan, Ann Valarie (Hall), of Rochester, 73, from hemorrhagic stroke. Predeceased by her parents, brother and numerous pets. Survived by her husband, daughter, granddaughter and many pets. She was a founding member of the Hilton-Parma Community Council which coordinated services for area residents in need, and was instrumental in starting the Hilton Emergency Food Shelf.

Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin. Contributions can be made to Habitat for Cats, P.O. Box 25637, Rochester 14625 in her memory.


BROCKPORT

•Dalheim, Rosetta Frances (Schwarzmeier), Died November 7, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1974, grandson Ryan in 1996 and sister Rita Glogowski in 2005. She is survived by her son Richard (Patricia); daughter Roberta; grandchildren, Randall (Kathy), Ronna, Ronald (Kim), Robert (Ann), Renee (Chris) Testa; eight great-grandchildren; foster daughter Barbara (George) Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was said November 11 at the Church of the Nativity BVM, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Nativity Church or the Brockport Fire Department in her memory.


•Gray, Constance Adams, formerly of Greece, died November 7, 2008. Survived by Allan H. Gray; son, Thomas (Susan) Gray, Ostrander, Ohio; son, Col. Stephen (Deborah) Gray, San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Kathleen Gray, Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Audrey, Andrew and Matthew Gray, Emily Gray; aunt, Ethel Hopkins, Olean; several nieces, nephews and cousins; pet companions, Precious, Mindy, Josie and Molly. Predeceased by husband, Melvin Gray, Jr. Member of Greece Baptist Church and Sweden Senior Center.

CHILI

•Haak, Robert M. "Bob," November 9, 2008, age 84. Bob was a 44 year member of Chili Fire Department, Veteran of World War II and Korean War. Member of Chili Legion Post 1830. Predeceased by his daughter, Margaret "Peg" Ehrmentraut. Survived by his wife of 57 years, "Joan Weinman" Haak; children, Stephanie (Dan) Leach, Barbara (Peter) Widener, Peter (Pam) Haak; son-in-law, Jim Ehrmentraut grandchildren, Justin (Kelly) Haak, Ashlea Eberhardt, Amity and Laney Widener, Lindsay and Lauren Ehrmentraut, Matthew and Robert Haak; step-grandchildren, Danny, Jasen and Gordon Leach; great-granddaughter, Oktober Lynn Haak; many nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Funeral Services were held November 12 at Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home. Contributions can be made to the Chili Fire Department or to a charity of one's choice in his memory.


HAMLIN

•Freitag, Robert C. Sr., age 87, November 7, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth (Petersen) Freitag; their children, Robert (Sandra) Freitag Jr., Larry (Melanie) Freitag, Mary (Kenneth) Lasch Sr., Patricia Robert; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; aunts Mildred Baker and Veda Woodcook. Robert was a charter member of VFW Post 6703 of Hamlin, a WWII Army Veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, a member of the Hamlin Firemen's Exempt and the Lutheran Laymen's League.

A Memorial Service was held November 15 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hamlin. Contributions can be made to St. John Lutheran Church Bell Fund, 1107 West Lake Road, Hamlin 14464 or to King Of Kings Lutheran Church, 10337 U. S. Highway 19, Port Richey, Florida 34668 in her memory.


•Smith, Herbert L., November 5, 2008 at the age of 88 after a short illness. Predeceased by his wife Hazel E. Smith and son Franklin. He is survived by his daughters, Beverly (Robert) Samuelson, Julie (Chip) Wannamaker; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren; many friends and paper cus-tomers.

No services were held at Herb's request. Contributions can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in his memory.


HILTON

•Cangialosi, Sr., Jimmy, November 8, 2008 at age 54. Predeceased by his father, Joseph Cangialosi. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Patricia Cangialosi; mother, Florence Cangialosi; children, Jimmy Cangialosi Jr., Charlie (Wendy) Amering, Trisha Amering and Patrick (Sarah) Amering; grandchildren, Tara, Victoria, Cole, Maddy, Max, Kyle, Chelsea, Calvin, Abby, Jordan and Haley; brothers, Joseph (Marilyn) Cangialosi and Gary (Gail) Cangialosi; sisters, Carol Ann (Thomas) Polaikis and Laurie Haddox; two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends and his special beloved dog, Maggie Mae. Jimmy is a Veteran of the United States Marines.

•Coss, Robert E., November 11, 2008 at age 73. Survived by wife, Lois (DeYoe) of 54 years; children, Lynda (Jake) Gleason, Dianna (Brian) Sherwood, Sharon (Ray) Peter, Robert II (Rachel) Coss and Jeanne (Dan) Weining; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many special friends and relatives.

•Hofferbert, Bruce Henry, Suddenly November 9, 2008 at age 73. Predeceased by his father, Henry J. Hofferbert. He is survived by his sons, Steven and David Hofferbert of Atlanta, Georgia; his mother, Mabel Hofferbert; his sister, Gail Hofferbert; his brother, Brian (Elizabeth) Hofferbert; his nephew, William Hofferbert; his niece, Sara Hofferbert; dear friends, Edna Johnson and Susan Grigsby and Skippy.

She is survived by her children Kathleen (Charles) Romand of Albany, James (Catherine) Bunce of Spencerport and David (Hoinu) Bunce of Minneapolis, Minnesota; four granddaughters, Tracey and Kelsie Bunce, Selvi and Anna Bunce; her brother R. J. (Rose Marie) Smith of Kendall; her brother-in-law George Heidemann of Kendall; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held November 10 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund of Spencerport United Methodist Church, 32 Amity Street, Spencerport 14559 in her memory.


•Miller, William E., November 7, 2008, at age 94. He was predeceased by his wife Leila. He is survived by his companion Anni Breitenborn; his children, David (Dottie), Greig (Lynn), Leon, Doug (Maryellen) and Rick (Carm) Miller; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Bill was a member of Unity Lodge #479 F.&A.M.

A Memorial Service was held November 11 at Spencerport United Methodist Church, Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Lakeside Memorial Hospital in his memory.
