AREA

•Nacy, Kevin C., of Irondequoit on December 5, 2008. Kevin is survived by his wife Virginia "Ginny" Schimpf Nacy; children, Patrick Nacy and Maureen Nacy; mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Mr. Nacy was president and chief executive officer of Lakeside Health System, Brockport.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated December 9 at St. Margaret Mary Church. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park. Donations can be sent to Lakeside Health System Foundation, 156 West Avenue, Brockport, NY 14420 in his memory.


BROCKPORT

•La Due, Michael, On December 8, 2008, at the age of 41. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Margaret La Due; sister Kim (Steven) Kimball; brother Mark (Suzanne); nieces Chelsey and Jessica Kimball and Alyssa and Jenna La Due; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services were held December 14 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment, private. Contributions can be made to Finger Lakes DDSO, Lifetime Assistance or the Mary Cariola Children's Center in his memory.


HAMLIN

•Prince, Alan Todd, age 74, died peacefully at home in Simpsonville, South Carolina, on December 5, 2008. Al fought courageously against cancer for several years. He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha; son Alan (Desiree); grandson Maxx; sisters: Nancy (Al) Campbell, Patricia (John) Mullins; brothers: Ronald (Linda) Prince, Donald (Linda) Prince, William (Kathy) Prince; many nieces and nephews, a multitude of friends. Alan was born in Rochester on June 10, 1934, and lived in Hamlin most of his life, prior to moving to South Carolina. He served 17 years in the US Air Force and was a retiree of the New York Central Railroad. Alan was a life member of the Hamlin V. F. W. Post #6703, where he served as Commander (1995-1996).

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, December 15 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Hamlin at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Hamlin V.F.W. Contributions in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Foundation.


HILTON

•Giacofei, Andrew A. "Andy", December 1, 2008. Predeceased by wives, Valerie Giacofei and Janet Meier. Survived by his children, Russel (Jean) Giacofei, Neil Giacofei, Paul (Margaret) Giacofei, Stuart Giacofei; grandchildren, Christopher (Carrie) Giacofei, Debra (Eric) Truss, David Giacofei, Dara-Beth Giacofei, Stephen Gullo; sister-in-law, Audrey (William) Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held December 10 at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, Inc., Greece. Interment, Grace Church Cemetery, Massapequa, New York. Donations can be made to Mission Endeavors, P. O. Box 51929, Riverside, California 92517, Designated: Rosmarino's in Andrew's name.


•Hand, Francis L., Age 91, December 10, 2008 at home. Predeceased by parents, Morea and Hazel Hand; brother, John Hand; sister-in-law Martha Hand. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jean (Nundy) Hand; their children, John (Virginia) Hand, James (Barbara) Hand, Jill Galbraith; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jillena) Hand, Dr. Jeanine (Brendon) Harrigan, Joanne Hand, James Hand, Aimee (Dr. Timothy) Bruns, Ryan and Jeannie Galbraith; great-grandson, Stephen Hand; many nieces, nephews, good friends and his dogs, Judd and Pensie. Francis was a 31-year retiree of Kodak.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to Judd's Children's Fund, @ RACF, 500 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 to help find loving homes for adoptive children or Clarkson Community Church, 8339 Ridge Road West, Brockport in his memory.


KENDALL

•Harper, Patricia A., Age 78, December 5, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Jack. Survived by her sons Paul (Cheryl), Wayne (Tina), both of Kendall; daughter Lisa Harper of California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Phyllis Knapp of Gates; half-sister Bonnie Mack of Rochester; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Services were held December 9 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Holley. Burial in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Contributions can be made to The Villages of Orleans in her memory.


NORTH CHILI

•DeHaven, Arnold, December 10, 2008 at age 77. Survived by his wife of 55 years Gertrude M. DeHaven; children, Chad (Eunice), Keith A., Steven (Kim) and DiAnna DeHaven; grandchildren, Chad II, Heather, Colin, Kyle, Janelle, Krystal, Phylicia, Steven II and Shane; great-granddaughter Adelynn; brothers, Walter (Ann) and Donald (Norma) DeHaven; several nieces and nephews. Arnold was a founding member of Grace Church of the Nazarene, an active volunteer for Crossroads Youth Group and an avid sportsman.

A Funeral Service was held December 13 at Grace Church of the Nazarene. Interment, North Chili Rural Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Grace Church of the Nazarene, 2924 Union Street, Rochester 14624 in his memory.


•Morton, Barbara R. (Chamberlain), Suddenly, December 7, 2008 at age 74. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Debbie Jean. She is survived by her sons Richard (Carolyn) Morton of Michigan, Gary (Cherry) Morton of Albion, and Thomas (Wendy) Morton of California; her brother David (Renate) Chamberlain of Texas; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co.

A Memorial Service was held December 14 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Spring interment, North Chili Rural Cemetery.


OGDEN

•Cavallaro, Charles L. "Charlie," December 10, 2008. Predeceased by his father and mother, Joseph and Gerlanda Cavallaro. He is survived by his loving wife, Irene (Anthony) Cavallaro; daughters, Nanette Butler (Bob Scheib), Lynn (Bret) Read; grandchildren, Michael Cavallaro (Linda Duma), Rachael Bulter, Sean Read; sisters, Mamie Tette, Carmella (John) Capizzi, Geraldine Lipani; brother, Joseph Cavallaro; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and spe-cial friends. Mr. Cavallaro was an Army Veteran.

A Funeral Mass was said December 13 at St. Jude's Church, Gates. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be directed to Unity Hospital Dialysis Unit, c/o Unity Health Foundation, 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester 14626 in his memory.
