Jessica Underwood, of Hamlin, is participating in St. Lawrence University's International Study Program for the fall semester. Underwood is studying in Spain.

Terry Charles, of Spencerport, was recently presented with Lakeside Beikirch Care Center's Quality Recognition Award. She was nominated for the award by fellow employees who cited her dedication and caring to the residents of the Care Center as well as her willingness to help out wherever she is needed.


Kristy L. Gould has graduated from the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Advanced Camp at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Washington.

After successfully completing advanced camp, and graduating from college, the cadet will be commissioned as a second lieutenant to serve in the U.S. Army, National Guard or Reserve.

Gould is the daughter of Kathleen M. and David R. Gould of Holley. She is a 1997 graduate of Brockport High School and is currently attending the University of West Virginia, Morgantown.
