•Miller, Dorothy A., (Alexander), On November 4, 2000 at age 63. She is survived by three sisters, Roberta Bonnet of Brewerton; Joyce A. Johnson of Sodus, and Shirley (Richard) Murphy of Ontario; five brothers, Charles (Theresa) Alexander of Churchville; Winston "Bud" (Marianne) Alexander of Byron; Donald Alexander of Bergen; George (Patricia) Alexander of Churchville and Larry (Donna) Alexander of Brockport; many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was a retiree of Davenport Machine Company, following 32 years of service.

A Funeral Service was held November 7 at Union Congregational United Church of Christ, Churchville. Interment Riga Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Greece Volunteer Ambulance in her memory.


•Nowicki, Antoinette L. "Nena" (Firpo), November 1, 2000. Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Edward; devoted daughter, Jacqueline (Robert) Young of Holley; three step-grandchildren and families; sister, Mary McGuire; sister-in-law, Mary Firpo; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was a member of St. Christopher's Golden Agers.

A Funeral Mass was held November 4 at St. Christopher's Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


BROCKPORT

•Delavak, Joan M., (Sauttell), On November 3, 2000. She is predeceased by her husband, Leonard. Survived by her children, Barbara (Paul) Bardotz of North Chili, Patricia Delavak of Brockport and Mark (Lori) of Rush; two grandchildren. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing and a retired nurse of 36 years at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. She served in the Vietnam War in the Army Nurse Corps.

A Funeral Mass was held November 7 at Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Brockport. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials can be made to American Diabetic Association or Lakeside-Beikirch Care Center.


CHILI

•Abbott, Charles F., On November 3, 2000. Survived by his loving wife of 39 years Virginia; his son, Chad (Kyle) Abbott; grandchildren, Cori, Justin and Cody. He was a member of the Chili Fire Department Company #1.

A Memorial Service was held November 7 at the Leo Bean Funeral Home Inc. Memorials can be made to the Chili Fire Department.


CHURCHVILLE

•DeCroce, Pat D., Sr., November 2, 2000 at home at the age of 77. Recently predeceased by his wife of 55 years, A. Neoma DeCroce. He is survived by his loving children, Pat, Jr. (Judy) DeCroce, Rene (Steven) DeCroce-Morganti, Janine (Jerry) Darby, Daniel DeCroce; five grandchildren; brother, Anthony DeCroce; sister, Viola DeCroce; sister-in-law, Dorothy DeCroce; many nieces and nephews. He was founder of DeCroce and Kuhs General Contractors. He built, owned and operated Chili Center Lanes with his brother-in-law.

A Funeral Mass was held November 6 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Churchville. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Vincent DePaul Church or to the Churchville Lions Club, P.O. Box 364, Churchville, 14428 in his memory.


•Hunt, George G., Saturday, November 4, 2000, at age 72. He is survived by three brothers, Frederick (Catherine) Hunt, Irving (Barbara) Hunt and Warren (Susan) Hunt; five sister, Doris (Jack) Rowlinson, Harriet (Roger) Esten, Caroline (David) Bierbrauer, Carolyn (John) Langdon and Lucille (Joseph) Smith; his uncle, Joseph Pimm; his aunt, Margaret Cleveland; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retiree of Manitou Construction Company.
Funeral Services were held at the convenience of the family.


HOLLEY

•Boynton, Elmer D., 82, suddenly on November 8, 2000 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. Mr. Boynton was a 1980 retiree of Duffy Motts, Hamlin. He was an active member of the Glenwood Hose Company of the Holley Fire Department and a member of the Holley First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Boynton was a veteran of World War II having served in the European theater and a member of the Jewell-Buckman Post in Holley. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mildred L. (Bauer) Boynton of Holley and his children: Roger (Pamelia) Boynton of Holley and Elaine (Anthony) Muscolino of Manchester; and four grandchildren.

A Funeral Service was held on November 11 at the First Presbyterian Church followed by a veteran's service at Hillside Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Holley First Presbyterian Church or Lakeside Hospital ICU.


•Buckwell, Clarence E., November 1, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Robert (Janette) Thomas, James Buckwell; daughter, Janet (Thomas) Hucknall; sister, Betty (Donald) Walsh; three grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Norma (Harold) Zehler, Eva (John) Kinsey, Rena Bills, Harold (Jeana) Hefke, Norman (Sue) Hefke, Edson (Barb) Hefke, Marion Fontaine; many nieces and nephews.

NORTH CHILI

•Chamberlain, Doris E., October 30, 2000 at age 90. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Chamberlain. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara R. Morton of Albion; and her son, David (Renate) Chamberlain of Texas; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She taught school in Gasport and Spencerport for 32 years.

A Funeral Service was held November 7 at Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment North Chili Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials can be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times or to Roberts Wesleyan College in her memory.


PARMA

•Young, Lawrence R., November 5, 2000, at age 81. Peacefully at his home. He was predeceased by his wife, Doretta; son, Lawrence R. Young, Jr. Survived by his children Karen (John) Doliber, Linda (Robert) Goodwin, Marshall (Linda) Young and July Kuhn; grandchildren, Rebecca Young of Oregon, Michael and Geoffrey Goodwin. He was a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Company for 35 years.

A Memorial Service was held November 11 at the First Baptist Church of Brockport. Contributions can be made to First Baptist Church of Brockport.


SPENCERPORT

Floramo, Cindy A., (Cappetti), November 1, 2000 at age 45. She is survived by her husband, Paul A. Floramo; her children, Brian and LoriAnn; her parents, Ted and Ann Cappetti; her brother, Ted (Norma) Cappetti; her sister, Sherry Cappetti; her grandmother, Alice Sacchitella; her father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Marie Floramo; brothers-in-law, Michael Floramo and David (Theresa) Floramo; several nieces and nephews. She was a school bus driver in the Wheatland-Chili School District.

A Funeral Mass was held November 3 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the School of the Holy Childhood in her memory.


•Privitera, Concetta I. "Connie," On November 2, 2000. She is survived by one son, R. Frank of Florida; one daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Jon Holm of Florida; four brothers, Joseph (Rose) Damico, Peter (Gloria) Damico, Michael (Ellie) Damico, Sam (Nancy) Demico; one sister, Betty Sparnon; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
