•Lotta, Grace "Ge Ge," November 16, 2000. Predeceased by sister, Rosalie Arena. Survived by sister, Mary Ann (Joseph) Scibona of Colorado; brother, Michael Tabone of Spencerport; son, John; daughter, Maria of Nevada; numerous nieces and nephews; and long time companion James Rovis.

A Funeral Service was held November 21 at Annunciation Church. Interment Parma Union Cemetery.


BROCKPORT

•Johnson, Carl L., November 16, 2000 at age 75. Retired engineer from Eastman Kodak Company. Survived by children, Gregory N. of Colorado, Bradley R. of Colorado, Judy R. of Bergen, David N. of Rochester; brother, Danny L. of North Carolina; granddaughter, Tammara L. of Colorado and special friend and companion Anna May Donahue of Brockport; and her granddaughter, Dulce of Kendall. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Ruth Marie (Wheeler) Johnson and daughter Marcia K. and Elizabeth. He was a Free Mason and a member of the Brockport VFW and Elks Club.

Mr. Johnson's body was donated to the U of R Medical Research Department. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.


•Karnes, Isabelle, October 24, 2000 at age 83. Predeceased by her brothers, W. Irving, J. Stuart and Edmond; sisters, Mary Louise Garvin and Virginia Karnes. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lillian Karnes, and her nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated November 25 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Brockport. Contributions can be directed to Lakeside Memorial Hospital, 156 West Avenue, Brockport 14420.


•Marks, Everett F., November 17, 2000 at age 79. He was predeceased by his sister, Lois Bliss. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Jean Whipple Marks; his sons, Peter (Ann) Marks and Frederick (Nancy) Marks; his daughter, Ann (Leon) Holberton; three grandchildren; his sisters, Velma (Kenneth) Speer, Arlona Sheldon and Marlene (John) Mayer; his sister-in-law, Dolly Marks; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held November 20 at the First Baptist Church, Brockport. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Brockport. Those wishing can make contributions to the Brockport Lions Club or the First Baptist Church, Brockport in his memory.

•Behrens, Margaret S., Peacefully November 15, 2000 under the love and support of her family. She is survived by her husband, Norman W. Behrens; her son, Peter W. (Barbara) Behrens; grandchildren, Mark and Scott Behrens; several foster grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

•Frediani, Louis T. Sr., November 18, 2000. Survived by his wife, Irene (Bagneschi) Frediani; sons, Louis T. Jr. (Rhonda) Frediani, Joseph M. (Eileen) Frediani; grandchildren, Steven Bogart, Louis T. Frediani III, Ashley Frediani, Patrick J. Frediani; sisters, Mary Allocco, Jean (Walter) Duemmel; brother, Richard (Teresa) Frediani; several nieces and nephews. Louis was a Third Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus.

•DeRue, Helen A. (Froehlich), November 15, 2000 at age 87. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, George DeRue; her sons, Earl (Dolores) DeRue, John G. (Linda) DeRue; her daughter, Elaine DeRue; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Ruth Saffran of Florida; her sister-in-law, Helen DeRue; her brothers-in-law, Abe (Dorothy) DeRue and John (Lucille) DeRue; nieces and nephews.
