Hilton High School National Honor Society
inducts 62 new members

On November 19, the Hilton High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 62 new members in ceremonies held at the high school. Welcomed by NHS President Lora Magliocco and Hilton High School Principal David Dimbleby, the new members were administered a membership oath based on NHS Criteria of membership: scholarship, character, leadership and service.

Officers this year are President Lora Magliocco; Vice President Christina Lord, Secretary Caitlin Bower and Treasurer Elaine Loggi. Advisors for the NHS are teachers Alpa Khandhar and Julianne Hamed. This year the Society expects to continue community service projects at WXXI membership drive, the Salvation Army and making holiday cards for nursing home residents, according to Khandhar.
