On November 22, Holley High School held a ceremony to induct 28 students into the local chapter of the National Honor Society. The new members are: seniors Laura Elizabeth Brusseau, Christopher Joseph Kovacs, John P. Mogle, and Kelly C. Valentine, and juniors Jenna Lee Barber, Emily Ann Beatty, Jenna Christine Bower, Sarah Callaghan, Christine Clark, Daniel Edward Cole, Danielle M. Cook, Ariana Julia Cuadrado, Daniel A. Fredendall, Benjamin Geist, Katherine Gerenski, Angela Rose Girvin, Cody James Habgood, Megan Ann Hinman, Tiffany Lynn Jewell, Amanda Michelle Lanzatella, Stephen M. Mallaber, Michael S. McAllister, Travis C. Mitchell, Katie Lynn Pharoah, Keith Garrett Stockton, Tammie Swabb, Mark Kenneth Trupo and Robert James Wright.

Students are selected for National Honor Society by a five-member committee comprised of Holley faculty and staff. They qualify if their cumulative average is 85 percent or above. Then, in order to be considered by the committee, they must complete an application and write an essay on why they want to be inducted into the society. The students must also provide three personal references and four recommendations, two from teachers and two from adults in the community.
