Music Association All-State Conference Six Brockport High School Music Department students and two student alternates were chosen to participate in the NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) Conference All-State ensembles this year. Selected to perform in the Conference All State Orchestra were: Violinists Jean Buttery, a junior and Youngsun Cho, a senior. Seniors Emily Georger, Adam Giese and Lindsay Marasco were selected for the Conference All State Mixed Chorus, as was junior Katie Selig. Saxophone player and senior Nate Emmerson was chosen as an alternate for Band and senior bass guitarist Greg McCandless was selected as an alternate for Instrumental Jazz Ensemble. Rehearsals and performances of Conference All State were held during the annual NYSSMA Winter Conference, in Rochester this year, November 27 to 30. |
