On September 12, Travis John Earley passed his Eagle Board of Review and was honored on November 5, by Boy Scout Troop 53 for achieving Scouting’s highest rank of Eagle Scout.

Earley’s Eagle Project was twofold. It consisted of scraping, priming and painting the garage/storage shed at St. Christopher’s Church and also building shelves for St. Christopher’s Emergency Food Cupboard run by Sister Carol Fox.

Todd Yunker, Earley’s swimming coach, was guest speaker at the ceremony and spoke about athletic and scouting achievements.

Earley reflected upon his years of scouting and how it is important to make time in our busy lives for the things that matter. He is currently attending Geneseo, studying chemistry.
