The Irish Children's Program of Rochester brings children, ranging from 10 to 14 years old, from Belfast, Northern Ireland to spend about five weeks of the summer with families in the Rochester area.

The Irish Children's Program of Rochester is holding informational meetings in January 2001 for prospective host families. Host families are required to attend one of the following meetings:

•Brighton - Thursday, January 11, Brighton Town Hall, 2300 Elmwood Avenue.

•Greece - Tuesday, January 9, Our Mother of Sorrow Church, 5000 Mt. Read Boulevard.

•Henrietta - Tuesday, January 9, Guardian Angels Church, 2061 E. Henrietta Road.

•Perinton - Thursday, January 18, Egypt Fire Station, Rt. 31 and Mason Road.

•Spencerport - Tuesday, January 16, Ogden Farmers' Library, 269 Ogden Center Road.

•Webster - Wednesday, January 17, Webster Recreation Bldg., 985 Ebner Road.
