AREA

•Marriott, Frances Agnes Agaciewski, On December 31, 2000 at age 85, following a short illness. Her husband, Gilbert Charles Marriott, a sister Jenny, and two brothers, Joseph and Louis, predeceased her. She is survived by two sons, Charles (Bessie) Marriott of Holley, Edward (Sheila) Marriott of Lowville, and two daughters, Emily Baxter of Rochester and Lenoria (Ron) Pelletier of New Hampshire; and a foster son, Joshua Wilder of Oakfield. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two brothers, Mack Agaciewski and Eddie Agaciewski, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Holley on January 3. Spring interment at Rodham Cemetery.


BROCKPORT

•Cadwell, Margaret, December 28, 2000, at age 95. She is survived by her son, William Carl (Sandra); daughter, Lois Lenz; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her brother, Clarance Kosbab; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held January 3 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.


•Dusett, Madeline L., Age 79, died December 26, 2000. Mother of Deloros (Mike) Cunningham, Jim, Gary, Wendy (John) Weldon and Lou; several grandchildren; and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held December 30 at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Holley.


•Eldred, Irene C., On December 27, 2000 at the age of 68. She is survived by her brothers, Timothy of Brockport and David (Patricia) of Oak Harbor, Ohio. She taught for 36 years at the Kendall Central School District.

A Memorial Service was held December 29 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Brockport. Donations in her memory can be made to Kendall Faculty Scholarship Fund, c/o Kendall High School, Kendall, NY 14476.


•Smith, James J., On December 29, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Helen; his children, Edward (Sharon), Joan (Steven) Plesha and Laraine (David) Weaver; four grandchildren.

A Funeral Service was held Janaury 6, at Fowler Funeral Home Inc, Brockport. Interment in the spring of the year at Miller Cemetery, Big Flats, NY.


HILTON

•DeBoeser, Edward V., December 25, 2000, at age 74. He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine DeBoeser, 1981. He is survived by his children, Edward V. DeBoeser Jr., Noreen Gargers and Diane Terry; his sister, Mary Stocklas; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass was said December 30 at St. Leo's Church, Hilton. Private interment, Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing can offer Masses or contribute to the Cancer Society in his memory.


HOLLEY

•Degen, Shirley, (Robishaw), Age 68, on December 31, 2000. Survived by her husband, Stanley of Hampden, Massachusetts; children, Steven (Monica) Fleth of Brockport, Donald (Faye) Fleth of Hilton, Taryn (John) Kohmann of Clarendon, JoAnne (Andrew) Jones of Churchville and Sue (George) Borrelli of Waterport; mother, Evelyn Robishaw of Albion; stepchildren, Donna Berndl of Rochester and Diane (John) Graham of Pennsylvania; brothers, Charles (Carol) Robishaw of Clarendon and Neal (Elizabeth) Robishaw of Holley; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Funeral Service was held January 6 at the Holley First Baptist Church. Burial in Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.


•Pilato, John, Age 69 died December 31, 2000. He was born September 4, 1931 in Realmonte, Sicily, the son of the late Pasqule and Frances Pilato. Mr. Pilato immigrated to the United States in 1947 to live in Albion and was a resident of Holley since 1963. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and was a Science Teacher in Holley for many years and retired in 1986. He was a former Village of Holley Trustee and former president of the Notre Dame High School Home-School Association. Mr. Pilato had great pride in his home gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; four children, Jeffrey Pilato of Chicago, Illinois, Frances Pilato (James Cochran) of Rensselaer, NY, Timothy (Angela) Pilato of Howell, New Jersey, Jed (Nancy) Pilato of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Irene, Ph.D. and her husband Ralph Irene, Ph.D. of Amherst; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held January 5 at St. Mary's Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Albion. Memorials can be made to the Holley Emergency Squad.


OGDEN

•DeFelice, Mary Jane, December 27, 2000. Survived by her sisters, Antoinette DeFelice, Marguerite DeFelice, Rita (Joseph) DiGuardi; uncles, Al (Marion) Ferraro, Joseph (Pat) Ferraro, Tom (Lucy) Ferraro; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Mass was celebrated December 29 at St. Helen's Church, Gates. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


SPENCERPORT

•Baldwin, William O. Jr., Monday, December 25, 2000. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn R. Baldwin. He is survived by two sons, William (Peggy) Baldwin III and David (Patricia) Baldwin; five grandchildren, William IV, Rachel, Caitlin, Lauren and Julia Baldwin; his sister, Diane Baldwin; nieces and nephews.

Masonic Service January 3 at Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Interment will be the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance in his memory.


•Davis, James S., Sunday, December 31, 2000 at age 74. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth J. Davis; his son, James H. (Judy) Davis of Brockport; his daughter, Jeanne E. (James) Stadtmiller of Clarkson; his sister, JoAnn (Robert) O'Rourke of Michigan; two grandsons, Jake and Jordan Davis; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

Funeral Services were held January 4 at the Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Spring interment Parma Comers Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or to the National Kidney Foundation in his memory.


•Henchen, Marion J., Friday, December 29, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Carol A. Niccoli; her brother, Pete (Ann) Hinkley; her sister, Grace (Art) VerWulst; her two grandchildren, Carol Riggs and Joe Niccoli both of Texas; her two great grandchildren, Samantha Riggs and Larry DiRienzo III; many nieces and nephews.
