Jimmy Baker scored early in the third period with an assist from Sean Curry to break a 1-1 tie and give the Brockport Blue Devils a 2-1 win over Hilton January 10 at Lakeshore.

Hilton's Matt Piccone gave the Cadets a 1-0 lead late in the first period hopping on a loose puck in the slot following Jason Greenwood's shot. Brockport freshman Craig Willis then tied the game in the second period with a power play goal from Rich Napierala and P.J. Hart to set up the third period game-winner. On the deciding goal, Curry sent the puck on net from the right boards and Baker was able to tip it in.

Junior Nick Unger played a strong game in goal for the Blue Devils with 29 saves including 14 in the second period. Junior Cole O'Brien was almost as good for Hilton with 23 saves.

On January 13, Hilton lost to the Greece Lightning 6-4. Down 5-1 after two periods, the Cadets scored twice early in the third period to pull within one goal before Greece tallied midway through the final period. Greg Schwind scored twice, Ryan LaLonde and Pat Curran once each in the loss.

The Cadets travel to Auburn and Baldwinsville January 26-27 for two non-league games while Brockport has the week off.
