Senior Chris Steinkirchner qualified for sectionals and sophomore Scot Snyder was a double winner as the Brockport boys swim team defeated Greece 2 95-83 for its second win of the season January 25.

Steinkirchner swam the 100-yard backstroke in 1:11.61 - good for third place in the event and a spot in the sectional meet. Snyder won the 100 backstroke in a season best 1:00.18 and also won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:03.21. Other winners for the Blue Devils were senior Chuck Mangan who won the 100-yard freestyle in a career best time of 53.30 in his first meet back following a rotator cuff injury. Freshman Josh Mantegna won the diving competition with 191.9 points and 8th grader Kevin Kewin won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:40.64.

The relay team of Mangan, seniors Ty Dobbertin and Harvey Rakoski and sophomore James LeBeau won the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:40.33. Rakowski also won the 50-yard freestyle in :24.43. Brockport hosted the Sectional Meet this past weekend.
