Hamlin Recreation offers winter break activities

Hamlin Recreation offers special programs during winter break week, February 19-23, for children six years and older.

Programs scheduled Monday, Wednesday and Friday include: Dinosaur and Cartoon Character ceramics, Candy bar Bingo, Bean baby bingo and Hodge Podge crafts.

Pre-registration is required for the ceramics program only, but suggested for all. Walk-ins welcome for Bingo and Crafts.

Country and Party Line Dancing

Rachael Blair will be teaching Country and Party Line Dancing through Hamlin Recreation beginning February 27. Classes will be held every Tuesday evening, 7 to 7:45 p.m., for five weeks. The cost is $30 per person. Participants must be 16 years or older and will meet at Merritt Hall on Lake Road.

Dances such as the Electric Slide, Macarena, The Tush Push and the Cotton Eyed Joe will be taught. Registration must be received by February 22. Call the Hamlin Recreation department at 964-7222 for information.
