moves on to budget

The Brockport Central School District won’t be scheduling a re-vote of its defeated bus garage proposal any time soon. At the February 6 Board of Education meeting, President Gary Zimmer told a group of citizens that the board is moving on to the 2001-2002 budget development.

Some members of the Concerned Citizens of Brockport, a group that protested the school’s land purchase/bus garage proposal, appeared at the meeting to ask several questions. Zimmer said the board would not be looking at the issue during the next six to 10 weeks of budget preparations.
