The Republican Majority of the Monroe County Legislature will propose a series of public input meetings regarding the drawing of new County Legislature district boundaries. The Republican proposal calls on the Legislative District Revision Commission to hold three public meetings throughout Monroe County before April 1, the date Census figures are expected to be released.

One meeting each will be held in the eastern and western portions of the county, along with one meeting within the City of Rochester, to encourage attendance and variety of viewpoints.

The Republican proposal will be considered beginning the week of Monday, March 5, and is slated for final approval by the Legislature on Tuesday, March 13.
