ALBION

•Koponen, William H., Age 82, February 10, 2001. Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy. Survived by son, Michael (Arlene) Koponen of Long Island; daughter, Janice (Bill) Valinus of Hamlin; six grandchildren; brother Larry Koponen of Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held February 12 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion. Interment Mt. Albion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Orleans County or American Cancer Society.


BROCKPORT

•Martin, Bernard J., February 6, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Teresa M. (Vollmer) Martin; his children, David (Joan), James (Cathy) Martin, Jane (Richard) Saulsbury, Stephen (Debra), Thomas (Bonnie) Martin, Rita (Mitchell) Beyler, Daniel (Christina), Peter Martin and Eileen (Gregory) Beyler; 17 granddaughters; nine grandsons; his brothers, Robert (Kathleen) and Richard (Alice) Martin; several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother Leonard Martin.

A Funeral Mass was held February 10 at Church of the Nativity of B.V.M., Brockport. Spring interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to Nativity Church or School, Brockport 14420 in his memory.


•Newman, Adrienne R. (Kurzowski), On February 7, 2001 at age 67. She is survived by her children, Alysanne (Chris) Efing of Spencerport and Ralf (Barbara) Kurzowski of Hamlin; three grandchildren; brother, David Ackerson of Florida.

A Funeral Service was held February 9 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.


•Oettermann, Mary E. (Betty), On Sunday, February 11, 2001. She is the widow of the late Fred Oettermann and is survived by good friends.

A Memorial Mass was held February 15 from the Church of the Nativity, Brockport. Spring Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends wishing can make contribu-tions to the Lakeside Memorial Hospital Building Fund, or the Brockport Ambulance.


HILTON

•Heber, Fred J., February 10, 2001 at age 72. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Theresa (Zona) Heber; his daughters, Katheryn L. Heber and Helen M. (Ronald) Dries; one grandson, Ronald Dries; three sisters, Doris Jewell, Stella Heber and Beverly (Charles) Long; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Anna Fricke.

Services were held February 14 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Holy Sepulchre. Those wishing can make contributions to ARC of Monroe County, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, 14620 in his memory.


•Salvati, Thomas J., Suddenly, February 8, 2001. He was a WWI veteran and proud of his country. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marion B. Salvati; daughters, Sheila Coombs and Shirley (David) Dietz; four brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.

OGDEN

•Hoyt, Helen E., February 8, 2001 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Frank. Survived by her son, Charles Ferris; daughters, Midge Flood and Jean O'Dell; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Ogden Senior Center.

A Funeral Mass was said February 12 at Holy Cross Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In her memory, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.


SPENCERPORT

•Crawford, Raymond E., February 5, 2001 in Urbana, Ohio, formerly of Spencerport. Veteran of WWII, US Army. Predeceased by wife, Anna M. Banks-Crawford. He is survived by one daughter, Debra R. (Cornell) Bosley of Ohio; one grandson; one brother, Rev. William G. (Ruth) Crawford of Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Crawford was a member of Eureka Lodge #36 F.&A.M. (Prince Hall).

A Funeral Service was held February 10 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.


•Hutton, Ruth N., Monday, February 12, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband, John L. Hawkins, her sisters, Harriet and Bess Noble, her brother, Willard Noble. She is survived by her husband, Ralph G. Hutton; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Michael Ryan; her son and daughter-in-law, John N. and Maureen Hawkins; two granddaughters, Amy and Martha Hawkins; several nieces and nephews. She volunteered for over 25 years at Park Ridge Hospital.

A Memorial Service was held February 14 at Ogden Presbyterian Church, Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund of Ogden Presbyterian Church in her memory.
