Hamlin launches website

Information about Hamlin’s town government departments and programs are now on-line. The town launched its website hamlinny.org on February 27. Pages are dedicated to the supervisor and town board, water department, dog control office, fire marshall, highway department, assessor, building inspector, town clerk, court clerk, support boards and historian. Also featured are the public library, recreation programs, and Wheel Fest plans.

Residents looking for information on office hours, meeting dates and application processes can find it on the easy-to-use site. The text of the town’s newsletter, including back editions, is also available.

The site was designed by Waylen Bray of Hilton.

Supervisor Austin Warner feels the site will be a big convenience for Hamlin residents. "It’s like Santa Claus came to the town hall."
