The Brockport Blue Devils girls' basketball team ended their season February 20 with a first round sectional playoff loss to Edison Tech 54-36.

Edison jumped out to a 17-5 lead early in the second quarter before Brockport went on a 13-0 run to lead 18-17 with two minutes left in the first half. The game became all Edison after that, outscoring the Blue Devils 37-18 the rest of the way. "We just couldn't compete with their athleticism on defense," said head coach Kathleen Boughton after the game. "You live with the three-point shot and you die with the three-pointer and we just couldn't hit anything early on."

Sophomore Katie Jones led the Blue Devils with 17 points including three 3-pointers. Kelly Jones had 11 points with Amy Rickman chipping in four. Nan Luma and Gabrielle Boley each had a bucket.

Seniors playing their final game in the blue and white were Brianne Heaney, Katie Daniels and Rickman.
