Clayton Johnson, of Spencerport, graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign in January. Johnson, an engineering major, was also named to the dean's list for the fall 2000 semester.


Bridget Timpano, of Rochester, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2000 semester at Providence College.


Gina C. Montenaro, daughter of Pete and Mary Montenaro of Spencerport, has been named to the dean's list at the University of Notre Dame for outstanding scholarship during the fall semester. Montenaro, a 1998 graduate of Spencerport High School, is a junior in the University's College of Arts and Letters, majoring in history.


Elizabeth H. Brown, a Marietta College junior from Spencerport, has been named to the dean's high honors list at Marietta College for the 2000 fall semester. To be eligible for the dean's high honors list, a full-time student must complete at least 15 credit hours with a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher for the semester. Brown, the daughter of Donna and Steven Brown, majors in radio-TV.


Lisa Galante and Jessica Mench, both of Spencerport, have been named to the dean's list for the fall 2000 semester at SUNY Geneseo.


Rachael Shevlin, Clarkson Parma Townline Road, Hilton, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at University at Albany, State University of New York.

She is the daughter of Michael and Dorothy Shevlin and is majoring in psychology.


Roberts Wesleyan College Nursing Honor Society, seeking to become a part of a chapter-at-large of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, inducted the following local members: Kim Dontigney, Marjorie Hitchcock, Joy Hogan, Aileen Mancini, Carol Mangino, Megan McDonald, Jennifer Mooney, Nadine Reich, Theresa Rondinaro, Deborah Seelos, Martha Sheperdson, Paula Switalski, and Patricia Wallace.


Lisa Pinkert has been named to the dean's list at SUNY Plattsburgh for the 2000 fall semester.

Pinkert is a 1997 graduate of Spencerport High School and is majoring in speech communications.


Linda Yousey has been an active member of the Hilton Fire Department for two years. Yousey works full time as a clerk-typist for the Rochester Housing Authority and has resided in Clarkson for 20 years. She has been married to her husband, Kevin, for 29 years and has three grown children, Noah, Shana, and Sarah. She also volunteers with the Massasauga Search and Rescue team. She performs various duties with the team such as Incident Command, K-9 searches and Team Leader. Yousey has also taken many classes about search and rescue including a national course on "Managing the Search Function."


Twenty-five Brockport High School students were among the outstanding high school students recognized last month by SUNY Brockport President Paul Yu. He congratulated the 3-1-3 Program students for having achieved a college grade point average of 3.25 or higher. The students honored from Brockport High School were: Brian Abrams, Ashley Anker, Stephanie Ayers, Richard Campbell, Kelly Duff, Joshua Dupre, Zachary Edwards, Nathaniel Emmerson, Jane Genthner, Renee Gramlich, Jessica Haas, Benjamin Hastings, Jeremy Jungbluth, Daniel Kepler, Michael Kincaid, Dawn McCrudden, Nathan Meade, Richard Merlau, Brian Mosher, Dustin Pakusch, Peter Ryan, Matthew Siciliano, Alexander Townsend, Amy Vandenberg, and Brian Wojtowicz.


Six Kendall High School students were among the outstanding high school students recognized last month by SUNY Brockport President Paul Yu. He congratulated the 3-1-3 Program students for having achieved a college grade point average of 3.25 or higher. The students honored from Kendall were: Ryan Grimm, Heather Miller, Kevin Pritchard, Karen Rusin, Andrea Strong, and Heather Westphal.


Catherine M. Lawson has been named Employee of the Month at Genesee Community College for February. Lawson serves as the College's Director of Workforce Development. She also is a member of SUNY Brockport's adjunct faculty, and is a popular speaker and trainer on technology-related subjects.


Gus Zaso is again one of the Top 10 Agents in the Ogden/Chili office for the year 2000, according to Rob Reimer, manager of Nothnagle's Ogden/Chili Office.

Zaso has been with Nothnagle Realtors for several years and is a consistent multi-million dollar producer.

Gus and his wife, Joyce, live in Chili.
