Brockport to offer Citizens Police Academy

The Brockport Police Department and the University Police Department from the State University College at Brockport will be sponsoring a Citizens Police Academy beginning April 3. The class will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for five weeks from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Classes will be held at SUNY Brockport, exact location to be determined at a later date. Class size is limited to 30 people. Community residents and students can pick up applications at the Village of Brockport Municipal Building, 49 State Street; Brockport Police Department, 1 Clinton Street; University Police Department, B022 Lathrop Hall; and Brockport Student Government office, Room 112 Seymour College Union.

Applications will be received until March 26. Applications can be mailed or returned to the Brockport Police Department, 1 Clinton Street, Brockport 14420 or the University Police Department, State University College at Brockport, B022 Lathrop Hall, Brockport 14420.
