Eight Holley fourth and fifth-graders were among the competitors in the Niagara District Parent-Teacher Association Spelling Bee in Starpoint, New York on March 17. Students from 15 schools in Niagara, Orleans and Genesee Counties participated in the event. Holley students qualified by holding preliminary rounds in each fourth and fifth-grade classroom. The top three spellers from each class then competed against each other in February.
