Students recognized at Brockport basketball banquet

The Brockport basketball season ended with a banquet held on March 11. The coaches, basketball teams, cheerleading squads along with their parents celebrated the year's efforts. Members from each team were recognized along with honoring the year's seniors.

The Varsity team coaches along with their teammates honored respective members from each of their teams as Most Valuable. Members were cited for their dedication, their "Team First" attitudes, willingness to put forth that extra effort and "love of the game." The 2000-2001 MVP recipients for the Blue Devils are Boys Varsity: Chris Abrams, Girls Varsity: Kelly Jones and Varsity Cheerleading: Nicole Rister. All three chosen were also team captains. Chris Abrams and Nicole Rister were also chosen for 1st Team All County.
