ALBION

•Higley, Harold M., At age 87 on March 31, 2001. He was a retiree of General Electric in Brockport and worked at Curtis-Wright. He was a past member of the Flyers Club in Knowlesville and the Oak Orchard Yacht Club. Mr. Higley was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Arline, in August 2000 and a sister, Mildred Bishop. He is survived by his children, Marilyn (Richard) Grout of Oregon and Marcia (Glenn) Walter of Medina; two grandchildren; one brother, Merle Higley of Kent; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held April 3 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home. Interment at Lakeside Ceme-tery, Hamlin. Those wishing can make Memorial Re-membrances to a charity of one's choice.


BROCKPORT

•Beedham, Marilyn R., On March 30, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; her children, John (Carol) of Holley, Susan Jones of Massachusetts, James of Brockport, Robert of Brockport; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her brothers, Jack, Daniel and Paul Hamlin; her sister, Ethel Cater; her brother-in-law, Earl Beedham; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the American Rose Society and the Carnival Glass Club.

A Funeral Services were held April 2 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Creekside Cemetery, Churchville. Friends wishing can make contributions to the Clarkson Community Church.


•Butz, James F., On April 2, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his children, Karen Verlander, Tamara Stewart, Sheri (Tom) Flannigan and Lee Butz; five grandchildren; his sister, Frances LeBarron.

Funeral and interment at the convenience of the family.


•Morrison, Lee E., At age 77 on March 29, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine of 55 years; daughters, Mary Lee (Sterling) of Clarence, Marlyn (Kerry) Morphet of Chili; and sons, Paul (Barbara) of Webster, David of Brockport, Todd (Brenda) of Walworth; brother, Gordon (Barbara) of Webster; 14 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of WWII.

A Funeral Service was held March 31 at Stevens Funeral Home, Marion. Donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Fund.


HILTON

•LaRue, Jean E., Suddenly, March 27, 2001. She is predeceased by her father, Herbert LaRue. She is survived by her mother, Mary LaRue; brothers, Dennis (Pamela) LaRue, Dean (Vicki) LaRue, Jon (Donna) LaRue and David (Sherry) LaRue; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Service celebrating her life was held April 1 at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Contributions can be made to Multiple Sclerosis Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester 14620.


HOLLEY

•Emerson, Clarice L., Age 82, on March 28, 2001. Predeceased by husband, Gerald. Survived by sons, Harrison (Nancy), William (Barbara), Raymond (Susan) David (Diane); daughters, Elizabeth (Darwin) Gemerek, Lynda (Ken Sherman) Emerson; brother, Byron Burbidge; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held April 1 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Holley Emergency Squad or Holley First Presbyterian Church.


•Nemecek, Eleanor M., At age 82, on March 27, 2001. Eleanor was the religious educations secretary for many years at St. Louis Church in Pittsford. Predeceased by her husband, Jerry C. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Chris) Donnelly of Holley; three grandchildren; son, James C. Nemecek of Pennsylvania; sister, Armaline Rothfork of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews.

Prayers were said March 31 at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., Albion, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park. Memorials can be made to Lakeside Memorial Hospital.


SPENCERPORT

•Bodine, Kathy (Sheldon), Age 51, of Plant City, Florida formerly of Spencerport, April 2, 2001 at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Florida. She is survived by her three sons, Michael Loescher, Matthew Bodine and his wife, Paige, and Barry Bodine, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; her parents, Joseph and Joyce Sheldon of Valrico, Florida; two brothers, Jeff Sheldon and his wife, Pam of Plant City, Florida and Chuck Sheldon of Rochester; a sister, Sandra Hawkins and her husband, Tommy of Jonesboro, Georgia; and two grandchildren, Talon Bodine and Jaden Bodine of Charlotte, North Carolina. She was a member of NASCAR Racing Wife's Auxiliary and for 20 years she was professionally associated with NASCAR with her former husbands, NASCAR #88 Michael Loescher and NASCAR #7 Geoffrey Bodine.

•Wight, Gerald E. (Jerry), At age 79, on March 31, 2001 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was predeceased in 1996 by his wife of 53 years, Irene D. Wight. Survived by a daughter, Patricia Bulavinetz of Phoenix; son, David R. (Colleen) of North Chili; nieces and nephews. He retired in 1983 from Pfaudler, Inc., and was a veteran of World War II.

A Funeral Mass was held on April 6 at St. John The Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
