•Finger Lakes Race Track - trip to Finger Lakes Race Track on Monday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Trip includes lunch in the glass enclosed Terrace Dining Room, free admission, race program and tip sheet. Lunch special is ham steak dinner, potato, vegetable, roll and butter, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. $10 per person. Space limited to 45. Stop by the center at 3235 Chili Avenue to register.

Lilac Festival - Senior Day - trip to Highland Park for the Lilac Festival on Wednesday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $4 (60 or older). Participants will have a box lunch which includes a sandwich with roast beef, ham, turkey and cheese, fruit salad, pasta salad, cookie and juice. Bus departs from the Senior Center back parking lot. Stop by the Senior Center to register.

New Horizons Band Concert - at the Eastman Theater performed by the New Horizons Band Tuesday, June 5 from 6 p.m. to approximately 9:15 p.m. The New Horizons band is comprised of talented senior citizens who have just begun to play or are picking up an instrument after many years. Bus leaves from the Senior Center back parking lot. The cost is $1 resident/$2 non-resident. Space is limited. Stop by the Senior Center to register.

Chili Senior Golf Group - meets every Monday at Churchville Golf Course. Tee times begin at 1 p.m. Nine holes are played. Both men and women are encouraged to attend. No fee to register but participants pay for their own greens fees. A senior pass (for those 62 and older) may be purchased at the pro shop. For information, call Art Reimherr at 889-1232.

Golf Lessons - at Chili Country Club driving range. Lessons are being conducted by Roy Painter, club pro. 12 people per class. Must provide own clubs. Session 1 runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings, June 5 to June 28 from 9 to 10 a.m. Session 2 runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings, August 7 to August 30 from 9 to 10 a.m. The cost is $30 per session. To register, stop by the Senior Center at 3235 Chili Avenue.

Dress Your House for Success - Learn how to get full market value for your home. The Chili Senior Center is offering a program entitled, "Dress Your House for Success" on Thursday, May 31 from 10 to 11 a.m. The program is free but call 889-6185 to register. Presented by Curt Amesbury, Jr., Pacer Property Services and Prudential Discover Real Estate.

Summertime Picnic - Tuesday, August 14 at Black Creek Park (Union Street) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Picnic lunch includes chicken quarter, broccoli pasta salad, German potato salad, dinner roll, milk, orange and dessert. The cost is $3. To register, stop by the senior center. Deadline is August 3. Space is limited to 100.

Van Transportation - for senior citizens who are without transportation to and from the center on Mondays and Thursdays for Lunch Club 60. For a ride, call 889-6185. The cost is $1 per day and is available to Chili residents only.

Beginning Oil Paining - Mondays from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $25 plus supplies. Supplies run approximately $13 and may be purchased at first class. Participants must provide a smock or old shirt, small towel, small glass jar for turpentine and a photo (or photo quality picture) of the item or scene to paint. For class dates, call 889-6185.

Drawing Class - Mondays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $25 plus supplies. Participants must provide a 9x11 sketch book, kneaded eraser, 2H, HB, 2B and a 6B pencil. For class dates, call 889-6185.

AARP Defensive Driving Course - for adults age 50 and older on Friday, June 8 and June 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chili Senior Center, 3235 Chili Avenue. After completion of the two-day course (one session), participants will receive a 10 percent reduction in liability and collision insurance. The certification is good for three years. The course is instructed by a certified AARP volunteer instructor. The fee is $10. To register, call 889-6185.
