There is currently a display of fifth and sixth grade art work from Hilton's Northwood and Village Elementary Schools in the cafe at Barnes and Noble in Greece Ridge Mall. "The display will run for the entire month of May and is an opportunity to show off the students' talents to the community in such a visible space," according to elementary art teacher Laurie Steele. "Since it has been on display we have had wonderful comments," said Steele.

The Hilton District Art Show, a grand showcase of all Hilton students' work featuring more than 1,000 pieces of sculpture, masks, oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawings and collages opens Monday, May 14 and runs through June 1 at the Quest/West Avenue Building, 225 West Avenue, Hilton. The public is invited to come to both the Barnes & Noble display as well as the district's own Art Show.
