Brockport school budget passes

Brockport Central School District voters approved a $52.4 million school budget on May 15 by a vote of 1,212 to 626. The budget increased spending by about four percent over the current year budget. Voters also approved the purchase of school buses at a cost of $875,000.

Incumbent school board trustee Gerald Maar was re-elected with 1,125 votes. Challengers were Scott Banner who re-ceived 451 votes and Terry Wolfe who received 209 votes.
