An article in the May 28, 2001 edition covered the construction of the Ogden Skate Park at Pineway Ponds Park. To clarify, the donation made by the Town of Ogden was trucking services and not a monetary donation.

Also, early fundraising efforts for the skate park included beverage bottle and can collections. There is currently only one collection site. It is at Barefoot Beverage in Barefoot Plaza near the park on Union Street.
