The bridge work on the Washington Street Lift Bridge over the canal in Spencerport will be completed two days ahead of schedule and will be open on Monday morning, June 18, according to the NYSDOT.

The bridge maintenance crew will move to the Gillett Road bridge over the canal in Ogden on Monday, June 18 to begin work. The bridge will be closed for approximately two weeks while bridge crews make structural steel repairs. There will not be a posted detour, but the nearest crossings are on Union Street (Rt. 259) to the west or Manitou Road to the east.

Signs will be posted at the intersections.
