Free Fishing Day offered at Hamlin Beach

The Town of Hamlin and the New York State Office of Parks is sponsoring a Free Fishing Day at Hamlin Beach State Park on June 24 from noon to 4 p.m. in Area 1, East Shelter, adjacent to the fishing pier. A limited amount of tickets are still available in the Hamlin Town Clerk's Office for those who wish to obtain free entrance into the park for the event.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will be providing a limited amount of fishing poles. The Town of Hamlin is asking if anyone wishing to donate a used or new pole for use by those less fortunate, you may drop off any used or new poles at the Hamlin Town Clerk's Office during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
